I will try to do some pre-Ohio State game coverage. I don't think I will have a live blog, but I may be posting thoughts and photos of the pre-game. We will see what happens.

...(3.1 miles one way) to see if I could still do it. I am usually able to bring home enough to keep my mom and I going without resorting to the car. At the rate my car uses gas I figure I save about $1.00 (probably more when you consider maintenance) every time I use my bike. Since I am supposed to exercise, and I can't really run anymore (at least for extended distances) biking makes me feel better when I go into the garage. So in a way I should be thankful that expensive gas has gotten me back on my bike.
I grew up in a small town where traffic is light, and I'm not comfortable with riding a bike on Alexis rd, so that pretty much limits my using a bike for transportation.
Ive begun bringing a friend to work with me, and since Ive got room for 7 in the mini-van, Im considering putting up a notice asking if anyone else would like me to bus them to and from work for a modest price.
My only problem is there's one annoying woman here who happens to live near me who's already suggested this option, and I dont know how to spread the word without her knowing about it - I'd probably pay $5 per gallon before considering having to listen to her babble non-stop every morning before coffee...
Ive also checked into TARTA, but they dont have anything right now that will work for me. Who knows tho, if we continue to rape the suburbs for supporting funds for TARTA, maybe something will happen...
I drive 1.5 miles to work everyday, so it hasn't been an issue yet. As for driving somewhere for vacation, we may stick closer to home.
