Ha! Hope you're not holding your breath. A snowplow never once came down our street last season and I even "called city hall" three or four times to ask them to.

Welcome to Toledo, the most liveable city!!!!!

If the snow and leaves are really bothering you that much...why don't you remove them yourself?

And take them where Kooz? And do it how? One man is supposed to be responsible for plowing a residential street? What, with a shovel and perhaps a snowblower?

We pay taxes for a reason.

The main page of the city's web site states that snow has interrupted the leaf pickup and it will resume soon. Here's the current status of leaf pickup operations by zipcode. LeafPickUp@toledo.oh.gov is the email address listed as the contact point for leaf pickup issues.

There's a city full of walls you can post complaints at

We did get plowed, but our leaves are still on the ground. In our area, they came through early and cleaned up the leaves and we are waiting for the second round.

Maybe if you can put down your neighborhood, if the city looks at this thread, they can see what the problem is.

Please let us know how it goes.

Well it's been two days since the last flake of snow and our street still isn't plowed. Driving around our neighborhood today while children were walking home from school was a real treat. You have little control over your car in this slush and the kids are walking down the middle of the streets when the sidewalks aren't shoveled. I get more angry as the days go by and I'm going to call the city every day that my street isn't plowed. If it's not plowed by Thursday, I'll be contacting the local news stations.

That bugs the heck out of me. Why don't people shovel? I can understand if there is an elderly person who can't get out there but that is when community spirit should take over and someone should help them out.

I hope that the plows make it your way soon. Good luck!

They issue the fines for walks not cleared.
Businesses on Cherry and other streets have been reported.
If we want a change we have to let people know.
