I think that Czarty goes on these shows to prove that there's nothing we can do about him.

Toledo got put on the national "stupid map" AGAIN. Yet Czarty would win an election AGAIN if it were held today. So who is really to blame here? WE ARE.

Ordinarily, you cannot correctly estimate the stupidity of the public since they constantly surprise you with a new low. In defiance of these changes, Czarty has correctly estimated US.

I can't wait until Czarty passes the baton to Ford in the next sham (i.e. mayoral election), if even the baton is passed on.

...the Mayor did. I have fewer seen e-mails supporting the mayor than those against his decision. It will be interesting to see how this effects the next election (if he runs again). He raises an interesting point: why would they bypass numerous towns in Michigan to come to Toledo? Certainly neither Ann Arbor nor Detroit are having their patriotism questioned. If a person had had a medical emergency related to this "exercise" these people would have been questioning Carty's judgment for having the Marines exercise here. He can't win for losing.
