The top campaign aide to Toledo Municipal Court Judicial Candidate, Jim Bishop, was supposed to begin his trial in Judge Jensen's court last Tuesday, October 9th. Campaign aide, Gary Groszewski was facing a possible 18 months in prison for his 16th DUI conviction. As seen below, this story made some news leading up to the trial, but I did not remember seeing anything in the paper about it last week. Seeing as to how this terror of the streets blew a 0.093 in a CITY vehicle last December, I figured there would be some news about it. Was it perhaps thrown out??

Someone please help me understand. If this would have happen when the legal limit was .10 there would be no issue. Why all of a sudden is Mr. Groszewski being labeled as an evil person? Don't get me wrong, I don't know the man, I'm just curious.
The man has been convicted of driving under the influence 15 times and has still not learned his lesson. Maybe if he wraps around you in his car one night after leaving his watering hole then you'd feel differently.
it's very possible that since it's just a drunk guy going to court it wasn't a big deal to cover on the news. now when he was driving a city vehicle that's news. very rarely do you see coverage of a dui trial.
Here's to the crazy ones, the rebels, the troublemakers, the ones who see things differently -- they're not fond of rules... You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them, but the only thing you can't do is ignore them.

Lisa, I actually just heard that earlier today. I wonder why he wanted it scheduled the week after the election insteado of the week before? ;-)
I see your point, Mr. Johnson.
