Should the next person that posts a smoking thread be smited with a dead fish?

Seriously, the smoking thread decision is really up to the administrator, not us.

My opinion:

Skip them if they bother/offend your sensibilities.

At the risk of being a pain in the ass, I want to point out that 'smoking threads' are not always just about smoking bans. Smoking bans are the forerunners of the NEXT bans, omens of what's to come. It's not just smokers whining about not being able to smoke (and it never was about our right to smoke - it was about the rights of private business & property owners). Those who ignore or don't want to be bothered reading about smoking bans should remember that it never, ever ends with smoking bans. We are losing freedoms & rights in this country & everything that was great about this country will be gone.

Interesting that there's 3 smoking threads bitching about smoking threads.

I'll take my dead fish as a fresh salmon marinated with a touch of maple syrup, soy sauce, and fresh cracked peppercorn on top of a soaked cedar plank roasting over a weber kettle.
