Brian Wilson's Response to the daily local's "yellow journalism."

Brian Wilson: :Yellow in black and white" opinion piece found in this weekends Toledo Free Press.

Down towards the bottom he uses a - favorite quoted line with a tagged on question;

"My friend Thomas Sowell wrote: “The most basic question is not what is best, but who shall decide what is best.”

Who do you want to decide? You — or Tom Troy and the bigoted Blade?"

Hey Daily Local! Where's your money?

Here's the deal. Daily Local, if it is so important for someone or some company to own the Docks who was born in the USA, why don't you buy it? I don't see you, the Teamsters, UAW, AFSME or any of the other entities that make up the bulk of our political Climate lining up to buy it. You chased everyone else out of town or the state, so it's just you!

Daily local lies like excrement!

In a yet again unnamed editorial, the daily local admits they lied about Brian Wilson's statement of last Friday. This is huge!

But they lied only a little bit so that is OK! They meant well. Hate justifies the action.

Sorry daily local and it's apologists! Half the truth is 100% of a lie. Swinging wild punches like in a playground fight you failed to connect. Why should any of the people you quoted in last Friday's article ever want to talk to you again!

If a tree falls in the woods, will it be turned into a Toledo Blade that people will read?

The Daily local in it's race to the bottom takes a comment out of comment and turns it into a politically incorrect statement. I am not sorry in saying that half the truth is 100% of a lie!

Wilson doesn't need my help defending himself. I am sure he will read the article, laugh and then go for an enjoyable walk with his dog. Can't beat the evening before where LSU danced on Texas A&M.

545 PEOPLE -- By Charlie Reese

Got this in an e-mail. Very good read:

Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinel has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the judgments made that impact each one of us every day.

545 vs. 300,000,000

Lorain Morning Journal Endorses Iott

Say it is tired of token representation.
Voters in Vermilion, Amherst, Oberlin, Wellington and LaGrange rarely saw much of Kaptur, except for the occasional photo-op around election time.

Food for thought

‎‎"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.

Does Kaptur mislead, snub and stiff Veteran Fundraiser?

By Nick Haupricht for Veterans Today

Six months ago, I was approached by Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur (Dem) to organize a veterans monument in Toledo using a left over “stone” from the World War II Memorial in Washington. Six months later and thousands and thousands of dollars spent, no stone, no memorial, no support and lots of misinformation, inaccurate information and a member of congress running away at full speed. Why?,,,,,

Brian Wilson complains about John Robinson Block (Toledo Blade) for living in Pittsburgh PA while living in Huddleston VA

Yes its true! Brian Wilson no longer owns a home in Perrysburg Ohio. September 23rd 2010 his Rivers Edge property sold http://www.sent-trib.com/trib/index.php?option=com_content&view=article&... leaving the area for good.

Let me get this straight. We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that hasn't read it but exempts themselves from it, to be signed by a president who also smokes, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke.

Toledo in spotlight again, albeit a small spotlight

Toledo made the news again in a story broadcast on 10/12 by Rush Limbaugh - although nothing like the current flap over a uniform worn by a congressional candidate.

Teacher Used as a Prop by Obama Gets Laid Off

TPS and the budget crisis

All I hear is TPS needs to close this school, lay off these teachers, cut those extracurricular activities. The one thing I do not hear from the people that run the school and supposedly care for our kids is that they are taking a cut in pay. I am sure that the jobs could be filled by someone that is willing to get paid less to do the job just so our children could have a better education. I feel if anyone in the administration off makes more than $100,000 in a year is well overpaid and needs to think about the kids first before they think about their pocketbook.

An excellent read.

A very insightful article written by the ever so brilliant Patrick J. Buchanan.

Tactics of a WSPD Demagogue

Clarity for the uninformed:
Developments by multiple posters trying to silence the Wolfman because of increased traction of his adversarial blogging give cause for reflection. The Wolfman only wishes to exercise his right to free speech without malice. The Wolfman has met the aggrieved party with the chosen apology as requested in a timely manner. The aggrieved was mistakenly caught in the heated cross fire of public debate of the public talk show host’s news reports. Wolfman knows the job market is tough and wishes no ill will toward the aggrieved.

Is Lucas County professing their faith in Islam?

I notice that the Favicon that the Lucas County Website uses looks an awful lot like the Islam religious symbol. Coincidence or subliminal message? You decide.
