Picture North Toledo in five years. What do you see?
United North wants to know.
Two "visioning sessions" are scheduled for today and tomorrow to discuss what the community hopes the neighborhood will be in five years and what needs to be done to get it there, said Terry Glazer, chief executive officer of United North, an alliance of Lagrange Development Corp. and NorthRiver Development Corp.
"If the people of the neighborhood don't believe in what we're addressing and the ideas aren't coming from them, then there's not any buy-in and there won't be much success," Mr. Glazer said.
Today's meeting will be from 5:30 to 8 p.m. in the Waite Brand Auditorium, 1600 North Summit St.
During the same time period tomorrow, participants will meet at the Caldwell Center, 3201 Stickney Ave.
