"Public invited to offer ideas on new arena
Lucas County commissioners are taking the downtown arena discussion back to the public, this time through a series of planned meetings to field suggestions for the arena's design.

The commissioners are inviting county citizens to three meetings this month to offer their input on the $85 million multipurpose arena, which is scheduled for construction in October.

The first meeting is set for Wednesday at the SeaGate Centre. The others will be June 19 in Oregon City Council chambers and June 20 at the Sylvania branch of the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library. All three meetings begin at 6 p.m."
