Oregon checkpoint nets four arrests
Oregon (again!) held another DUI checkpoint, this time just east of I-280 near St. Charles Hospital on Friday. They stopped all traffic for four hours Friday afternoon and evening on Navarre Ave. (St Rt. 2) to check over 1,100 drivers. The checkpoint netted 4 arrests for outstanding warrants and 12 citations for other violations. But no DUIs. When will the madness stop?

Yikes - Oregon vaccinates a child despite parental orders?
http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20091029/NEWS16/91...
I dont care how you come down on whether to vaccinate your child with the H1N1 vaccine or not - But if a parent specifically tells a school NOT to vaccinate their child - that oughtta be the end of THAT discussion!!
Knowing her 7-year-old has had adverse reactions to medication in the past, Kim Lutheran thought she had made it clear she didn't want her son vaccinated for the swine flu.

The American Heartland Bar and Grill College Football Top 30
Here it is, the only objective, unbiased ranking system there is. Strictly driven by wins and losses period. This is much more fairer to the non-BCS schools.
Compared to BCS rankings:
-Iowa = underranked
-USC = way overranked
-TCU = slightly underranked
-Cincinnati and Boise State = slightly overranked.

Person who used Government Computer to look up info on Joe The Plumber, Charged with Crime !
The Person who used a Government Computer to look up info on Joe The Plumber, Charged with a Crime. Will Oregon Police Officer Jeff Brown be charged also. Or will the Lucas County Prosecutor and or the State just let this go?
That would be wrong. A Crime is a Crime. Is it not?
The person that looked up info on Joe The Plumber did it one time. And now this person is being charged with a crime.
Officer Jeff Brown of the Oregon, Ohio Police Dept. used the system to look up info on a girl friend 11 times or more. And are not Police Officers to be held to a higher standard?
A NO Vote for Marge Brown, Oregon Mayor
DO NOT VOTE FOR MARGE BROWN For Mayor ! She has her son and another family member on the Oregon Police Dept. O'yes. Why ? Marge needs to go. She and her whole family are just Bad News for Oregon !
