Venting

I arrived at my polling place bright and early this morning, checked in at the table to locate my precinct and was directed to 11N. My name was apparently in that book, but it was not in the voter registration book at table 11N. Never mind that I voted in the primary in March. Suddenly, I'm no longer registered to vote.

Teachers Shook and Brueggmann have been suspended. For having a legal relationship with girls who were their former students. Whats the problem here ? They waited, the girls were 18yrs old. It didn't happen on school property. So why is this an issue ? Sure it looks bad to some. But I have no problem with it. Once the investigation is over I suspect these men will resign.

I found this, not my words - but it sounded interesting.

Doesn't it seem a bit odd that the economy dived with smoking bans and tax hikes as they spread. The mortgage crunch (loan problem) is actually at 30% of the mortgage problems (per a news report here).

I have an International family staying with me. The husband received his Master's degree in education from a BGSU last August. He has not taken the Praxis test yet for a teaching license . So I went with him to Manhattan st. , Toledo Board of Education last August to sign up as a substitute teacher. .

Why wasn't my recycling picked up last week as per the City of Toledo Recycling schedule ? The recycling truck drove down my street 3 times and picked nothing up. Also, the regular trash collectors picked up the cardboard and newspapers I set aside for recycling. Is Toledo serious about recycling or not ?

Speaking in specifics here about the woman who's running against Latta Jr. She's making a big mistake running against Grinning Idiot Taft -and Noe, for that matter-in every ad. That was the last November tactic of the cRAT party, and it worked then. It's old news now, Noe's in jail, and no one with the name Taft will ever be elected to dogcatcher, let alone a statewide office.

My point is that I'm not easily offended by words. At the same time I don't necessarilly want to review the many uses of the word fuck with my 11-year old son.

Al - find a happy place and stay there. You're no longer the Fed Chairmen, so stop commenting. You're now turning into the Britney Spears of Fed Policy, you're no longer center stage. Deal with it!

My sister said this CHIPS program is also in Texas, and it pays for the Mexican illegals' kids medical care. She's fuming - said she's smoking generic cigs since the tax hikes, and even they are going sky high.) What WOULD they do, if every smoker - stopped?
