Well it appears that WSPD has once again gotten results. Since late April we have been banging the drum for action on an intermodal facility for Toledo/ Northwest Ohio and it is finally starting to pay off. The mayor after saying he has worked on it for 28 months, and had nothing to show for it, finally named a committee to study it.

<< Michigan has been in a dramatic recession for at least four years, according to at least one leading economist, and its southern neighbor hasn't fared much better.

The Cook County Board of Commissioners is conducting a telephone poll where callers can vote for or against gun control ordinances that would close all gun shops in the county, including the recently opened Cabela's sporting goods store in Hoffman Estates. Cabela's customer base extends into Wisconsin, Indiana and Michigan.

YOU DO NOT HAVE TO BE A RESIDENT OF COOK COUNTY TO VOTE!

We need to get some petitions going to get these Tax Issues BACK on the ballet in November. The Schools put them on over and over again until they pass. Well, we can get it Back on and at the proper time to Vote, NOVEMBER !

No More Taxes. It is long past " I Can't Afford" I just don't have the money. And I cannot afford ANOTHER $ 400.00 plus on my home taxes! Has anyone gotton their tax bill in the mail yet. Did you see just how much ALREADY goes to the schools?!!!
