I don't know why Mike Huckabee wants you to vote no (other than the obvious), but he just called me and told me so. It is nice that someone from Hope, Arkansas cares so much about what is happening in Ohio. I guess he may be up to another round of presidential politics :)

The mailing misrepresents Rep. Barbara Sears’ position on job training and workforce development funding. Rep.

COLUMBUS -- A federal judge has ordered Ohio's top elections official to verify the identity of newly registered voters.

Another application submitted by Crown Point employees of the community organization known as ACORN listed a prospective voter's name as "Jimmy Johns."

The phone number on the form is that of the Jimmy John's sandwich shop in Crown Point.

EXECUTIVE SUMMARY

The so-called debates are puffballs, unworthy of being called debates. They are designed to provide the candidates their minute and half of sound bites. The entire scenario is designed not to ask hard questions and get something from them other than prepared talking points. It's all flash and show without substance.

Cordray says he knows nothing about it and also says the 37% increase of business to Wachovia is not related to donation. Donation could be illegal because it was funneled through another person possibly done to skirt campaign finance limits. Kudos for the Dayton Daily News for asking questions and follow-up.

PBS has an online poll posted asking if Sarah Palin is
qualified. Apparently the Republicans knew about this in advance and are
flooding the voting with YES votes.

I know -- it's only a poll. But it will be reported on PBS,
picked up by mainstream media and can influence undecided voters in swing
states.
