He didn't have it, was refused, went out swearing, insisting he was 28 (which I suspect was true, but-). The guy that works at the station told me when I asked for cigars that I had to show ID (I'm in my sixties).

Totally disappointed at a High School <TPS> Open House 9/12/07

I went to my daughter's open house at a TPS High School and was so disappointed. Its no wonder the school's aren't fairing well.
As we pulled in it appeared to me the place was going to be packed, good turn out. As we visited my daughter's classes one by one, I was amazed to see that it was usually us alone in a class room, just 2 of the classes had another set of parents.

I cannot believe what I just heard on the news. Instead of turning in the recall petitions (even though they were short on the number needed) Chad Quigley and Tom Morrisey BURNED THE PETITIONS!!!!!!!!! Are you kidding me?

Shakedown at Ottawa Park

Today was the City Wide Block Watch Picnic held at Ottawa Park. Since it was held on city property, I assumed that it was OK to pass out literature for Cheryl Catlin's campaign for the Toledo School Board. Wrong! We were first told that we could not pass out literature. So we stopped. We were then told that we could not actively campaign, such as talking to people.
