Then the courts this week decide hey it is ok to add extra penalties to your sentence, even after you were sentenced....... if your a pedophile its legal.

New noise ordinance in Toledo

Today Joe McNamara's office faxed me a letter advising that a revision of the Toledo "loud sound" ordinance was being considered. The current law will be modified to make it "illegal to be able to hear a sound inside a residential structure located 200 feet or more from the source of the sound."

Here's a link to the proposed language: http://www.wtol.com/Global/Link.asp?L=338009

Intimidating a Judge will get you nowhere, UAW!

Beginning next Tuesday, Shvarts will be displaying her senior art project, a documentation of a nine-month process during which she artificially inseminated herself "as often as possible" while periodically taking abortifacient drugs to induce miscarriages. Harry Weatherholt (Mr. Harry) was sentenced today to 12 years in prison for the sexual battery of a 13 year old Leverette Junior High School student. If I heard it correctly on Fox news, former school board members (no names given) spoke up for him. This is appalling if true.

By performing this act, the city has just told people to stop paying their mortgages. They also told people to stop paying their property taxes.

(Renters, of course, being second-class citizens, must still pay their rents or they will be evicted.)

Should Toledo Pay for the Boyer?

Today in the Toledo Blade's page of opinion there's a piece entitled "Museum ship belongs in historic port. In the article Dick Slawinski remembers how the ships use to come in and of the harbor. He concludes that "Toledo should get behind the effort, physically and financially, so we can uphold a tradition of a fine seaport and show off our museum ship." With the tight budget that Toledo has for police and recent legal actions against the mayor, should Toledo take on this extra expense?

Where does Marcy stand on H.R. 1720?

Shortly after returning to Congress in 1997, Congressman Ron Paul attended a county fair where he met with some Texas students who were active in agricultural education programs such as 4-H and Future Farmers of America (FFA). Congressman Paul was outraged to learn that these students would have to pay taxes on the money they made from raising and selling livestock as part of these programs.
