A Real i-open(er)

In doing a little surfing I came across this site and it's most interesting!

I wonder if our esteemed city leadership is aware that there are others in this world who are interested in TRUE economic development and are willing to explore new ways to accomplish this.

Check it out and pen your thoughts.

All the girls had ugly gym uniforms?

It took five minutes for the TV warm up?

Nearly everyone's Mom was at home when the kids got home from school?

When a quarter was a decent allowance?

You'd reach into a muddy gutter for a penny?

Your Mom wore nylons that came in two pieces?

Starling-at least one state has some people left with balls

Not to negate anything anyone's doing in oHEILo, or any other state, but I absolutely LOVE this-sort of the new tea party. I especially love the first paragraph.

Good luck to 'em! 8^D

Progressive Toledo is Back

Progressive Toledo is back. That's right, ladies and gentlemen, after a long hiatus, I have decided to recreate the blog. Despite a takeover from a casino company, I have retained the rights to this blog. As many of you know, I shut down the previous Progressive Toledo because I was not happy with the economic environment of the area.

Tester aims for Senate transparency online

Nancy Pelosi comes out solidly on the the Presidents' side

I was sitting through the State of the Union address tonight.

I was so happy to see Nancy Pelosi giving the President the lead for one after another standing ovation.

This is a great sign for healing, for our leadership to work together. I taped this - and I am so glad that I did. Nancy P. has crossed all boundaries and any aisle - in her support for the President.

I am so happy to see her solid support of the President.

Tom Maher as a candidate for Super.

This is from a news story from my Local paper: "SCHOOL BOARD A BATTLEGROUND

The controversy over the dismissal of Indian River County School Superintendent Tom Maher in late 2005 continued through 2006 as a divided school board battled over school construction plans, personnel and school sites. This led to voters electing three new members in 2006."

Constitution 1 Finkbeiner 0

Finkbeiner gets it handed to him by Federal Court. His poor excuses on selective media coverage press conferences were exposed. We all thank WSPD for fighting for what is right. Will Carty comply? Final order will be determined on 1/21.
