This is terrible. They should put these sick bastards to sleep!
I hate it
I'm a frequent user of the downtown library, known as the Main Branch. I'd noticed that the homeless are frequent 'users' of that branch too, but not for what I was using the branch for.
I'd never seen a bedbug until I went to the main library one fine day about 6 months ago. And that made sense, considering the place is an absolute haven for the homeless. They have lots of comfy chairs which the homeless fill. You couldn't pay me enough money to sit in one of those chairs now.
No, not Mr. Myers' site. The supposedly all-new and improved government healthcare site is apparently unable to detect fraud.
Skynet rising: Google acquires 512-qubit quantum computer; NSA surveillance to be turned over to AI machines
'Most people don't know about the existence of quantum computers. Almost no one understands how they work, but theories include bizarre sounding explanations like, "they reach into alternate universes to derive the correct answers to highly complex computational problems."
"Barack Obama says that he will not wait on states to enforce Obamacare. Instead his administration has announced its intent is to completely disregard the state’s Tenth Amendment rights to nullification of the Obamacare law, via their passed legislation and state constitutions.
I'm a real bad person. I had a couple posts removed from Face Book today.
All I wanted to do is point out that the Toledo-Lucas County Public Library has a sizable campaign chest. Over $18,000 in funds to purchase all those big signs I've been seeing.
Where did the money come from? I checked out this Augusts Semi-Annual filing and saw they obtained $7,000 in two donations from the Sylvania Friends of the Library. Funny how those round numbers just show up.
House of Representatives voted to bar Planned Parenthood from all federal funding (Pence Amendment to H.R. 1)
House votes 240-185 against Planned Parenthood receiving federal money next fiscal year:
Is anybody else having issues with Buckeye cable Internet being down or does anyone know if there is a problem?
The religion of "peace" is at it again. When will America wake up?
TV pitchman Billy Mays was found dead today in his home in Tampa, Florida early this morning.
I guess I really haven't been paying attention or something because I was totally surprised when channel 13 did a story on the new trash pick up schedule.
I have a question for the good folks on this blog: Why was an out-of-state contractor (Posen Construction of Shelby Township, MI) chosen for this "reconstruction"?
I have a neighbor who lives two houses down, and she is a cat horder. Last year it seemed as though she had 10+ in her house and another 20 or so that lived in and out of her basement and on her back porch. The cats were mostly feral, and all in bad shape.
Another day more rights lost. Michigan's state senate voted to pass their own form of a smoking ban. All the bill needs is Granholm's signature. All those who thought they could escape Ohio's ban by hoping across the border will soon run out of options. Border bar owners rejoice, high gasoline prices may bring former customers back. Perhaps they will enforce the law as poorly as they do here.
Before my postcard informing me of the change. I discovered that next week my neighborhood is being forced to participate in a pilot program. Automated trash pickup. Which also includes recycling. Two cans arrive next week. They even sign you up to recycle without your concent. All you can stuff in one can for the duration of the program.
A vicar is to apply for a drinks licence so he can sell wine and beer at his small village church.
The Reverend Geraint ap Iorwerth could be made licensee of St Peter ad Vincula Church in Pennal, near Machynlleth, close to the Powys-Gwynedd border.
He joked that there were plans to serve more than just spirits, though, with lager and wine on the menu too.
Has the format of Swampbubbles changed - so only a small few topics are posted now?
