Common Law Grand Jury

COURTS OF RECORD AND COURTS NOT OF RECORD - "The former being those whose acts and judicial proceedings are enrolled, or recorded, for a perpetual memory and testimony, and which have power to fine or imprison for contempt. Error lies to their judgments, and they generally possess a seal. Courts not of record are those of inferior dignity, which have no power to fine or imprison, and in which the proceedings are not enrolled or recorded".

Just another day at the office.

Barack Obama is president, Michelle Obama is the First Lady and "12 Years a Slave" won the Oscar for Best Picture. Isn't this a great country?

Wisconsin seeks to give surplus back to voters

Remember the days when Wisconsin was facing a 3 BILLION dollar deficit. Gov. Scott Walker was elected and the unions tried to recall him.

In his first year Gov. Walker took the 3 billion dollar deficit and turned it into a 300 million dollar surplus.

The impossible has happened again.

. Letter from Abraham Lincoln to the Hon. J. T. Hale Springfield, Ill. Jan'y. 11th 1861.

"My dear Sir---Yours of the 6th is received. I answer it only because I fear you would misconstrue my silence. What is our present condition? We have just carried an election on principles fairly stated to the people. Now we are told in advance, the government shall be broken up, unless we surrender to those we have beaten, before we take the offices. In this they are either attempting to play upon us, or they are in dead earnest. Either way, if we surrender, it is the end of us, and of the government. They will repeat the experiment upon us ad libitum."

Should You Really Be Afraid of Raw Milk?

The same regulators who defend the use of mercury in your dental fillings and fluoride in your drinking water want you to be afraid… very afraid… of a wholesome food known as raw milk. I currently use about one pound of raw butter per week, and for those who have tasted the difference will never return to pasteurized products.

Cream, butter, yogurt, milk - it all tastes so significantly better in the raw form, there is an inherent recognition it is better for you. There are also well documented differences, raw milk is:

Jihadist Group: We Started Arizona Wildfires.

"Oh the many facets of jihad! Now we’re seeing fire jihad in America. According to reporter David Barnett, a Palestinian jihadist group, Masada al Mujahideen, has recently claimed credit for the ongoing wildfires in Arizona in a statement that was posted to a jihadist forum on Wednesday.

The statement, titled “Masada al-Mujahideen Fulfilled its Promise and Attacked America Again After the Expiration of the Period with Fires that Achieved Historic Results,” was obtained and translated by the SITE Intelligence Group.

Obama backs EEOC Suing BMW And Dollar General For Racial Discrimination.

WASHINGTON — The Equal Employment Opportunity Commission filed lawsuits Tuesday against discount retailer Dollar General Corp. and a BMW manufacturing plant in South Carolina over their use of criminal background checks to screen out job applicants or fire employees.

In both cases, the agency claims the practice discriminates against African-Americans, who have higher arrest and conviction rates than whites.

In yet another study on the "unintended" affects of O-care the premiums in Ohio will rise.

Just a little, 88%.

Of course to quote the President " If you like your healthcare plan you can keep it." Apparently that only if you have the 88% extra.

How long before NMFR appears to declare this debunked without providing any facts to support how "swimmingly" it's implementation is?

On this Memorial Day

We should remember those who, as conscientious objectors, placed their futures at risk by fleeing the nation of their birth rather than participating in the useless, futile and agonizing bloodbath known as Vietnam. In an era that glamorizes seemingly every Vietnam vet as a hero, the C.O.'s understood that the war was the result of imperialist impulses for which politicians were willing to sacrifice the lives of 58,000-plus young Americans.

Certain Green Tea's May Not Be So Healthy After All..

"Researchers tested 26 types of green tea beverages and supplements and found that some ready-to-drink teas were mostly sugar water. Some of the supplements (which claimed to speed weight loss or help combat cancer) had high levels of caffeine which weren't listed on the labels, and some bagged teas, especially those containing tea grown in China, were contaminated with lead.

"The green tea plant is known to absorb lead at a higher rate than other plants from the environment, and lead also can build up on the surface of the leaves."

Michigan bond ratings upgraded...

Michigan's bond rating is upgraded from AA- to AA to some that might not mean alot but it will save taxpayers a lot of money.

The ratings upgrade looks to be due to a more competitive automotive industry, business tax cuts, reforms to the public school employee retirement system, austere budgeting practices and the return of a meaningful rainy day savings fund, which is budgeted for $505.1 million this fiscal year.

This is a good start in the right direction, some good news for a struggling state in despair...

Georgia Town Would Make Residents Own a Gun

"Residents of Nelson, Ga., could soon have more than the right to bear arms—they could be legally required to, reports WSB-TV. With just one police officer in the 1,300-person town that straddles two counties, Nelson residents face long police response times, so local officials are introducing the Family Protection Act, which mandates that every head of household "maintain a firearm, together with ammunition."
