I listened to President Obama's State of the Union Address and couldn't stop laughing. The address reminded me of the strategy the Mongols used creating their empire. The Mongols would approach lands and give them two choices. They could surrender and become part of the Empire. If they surrendered they could keep their rulers, religions and cultures. If they refused to surrender they would be totally annihilated. It appears Obama is at the gates giving the Republicans this ultimatum. If the Republicans surrender Obama will go down in history as the most effective POTUS in history.
The most important block of voters will be who, in 2016? Some say the minority block. Others claim it will be the "undecided vote", while still others say it will be the "youth vote". They're all wrong. The most important vote will be the "stupid vote", if it isn't already. The democrats' party even boasts about it. If the Republicans can pry 10-15% of this block loose, IMHO they will win it all in 2016.
I smell another Apology Tour, 2.0. Next stop to kiss the ring of NorCom leader?
I know that this post is politically incorrect, perhaps even naïve. The general public is often blind to the world of giant corporations and the "play" money which are the earnings of thousands of corporate middle and upper management executives. But, I've always enjoyed tilting at windmills. Until and unless we, as a general public, decide that paying more nearly competitive salaries to top government officials will yield better run government, we will continue to get the government we are willing to pay for.
Obama Can Reform Dark Money With a Stroke of a Pen
Quote from article:
"President Barack Obama can issue an executive order today that requires government contractors to disclose their dark-money campaign contributions.
Why doesn’t he? And why don’t campaign-finance-reform organizations push for such a fix?
Yet Gruber joined the HHS payroll right after Obama took office, in March 2009. He was paid $392,600 to consult on ObamaCare. Some might call this kind of arrangement “corruption.”
It’s like an expert witness appearing in court to swear that BP never spilled any oil while working as BP’s $400,000-a-year publicist.
Gruber made 1.5 million
Professor Gruber, an architect of obimacare, has made at least three videos attesting to the fact that the Bill couldn't pass, without the stupidity of the American Voter! That must be how the rest of the politicians in the democrats' party see their constituents. Although some are pissed off about Grubers' accurate assessment, I'm glad to for once, to see a democrat elite telling the truth.
They didn't get their message out, IMO. Next time, I suggest they campaign a lot harder, on issues like: the war on women, playing the race card more effectively, voter intimidation, and so on. And of course, from now on the DNC will have to have a Black person on the presidential ticket, or they lose the 2/3s forever.
If Hillary runs against Warren, 2016 will be the most entertaining election in the Countrys' history! Even more so than the one earlier in the week.
There are a lot of bills that will now move, and move swiftly through Congress for the prez to veto, earning him the name: Mr. Obstructionist.

From lagging 'job creation' to lower charity giving, the wealthy give less back to society
A new report shows that the wealthy are giving only 4.6% of their salaries to charity, compared to 16.6% of those earning $25,000 or less. The least generous? Those who make $500,000 to a few million a year

" The CBO reported in January that the Defense Department’s health-care costs will rise from $49 billion in 2014 to $70 billion in 2028 (in inflation-adjusted dollars). That is an increase of about 40 percent in real terms; as a result, health care will account for 11 percent of the defense budget in 2028, up from an already astounding 9 percent today.
Yes the former U.S. House Majority Leader Eric Cantor will join investment bank Moelis & Co as vice chairman and managing director. Defeated in June by a Tea Party challenger in a Republican primary election, will now provide strategic counsel to the company's corporate and institutional clients on key issues.
"Eric has proven himself to be a pro-business advocate and one who will enhance our boardroom discussions with CEOs and senior management as we help them navigate their most important strategic decisions," Moelis CEO Ken Moelis said in a statement.
Yeah, yeah, yeah. Just what I thought. MIKE? MIKE? Where art thou?
I've been watching all the liberal shows today. Listening to the witnesses, some who were only a few feet away from the scene, I finally figured out what is missing here. The N-Word! Nobody I heard used it. Nobody. Since everybody knows that when a Black Person is about to talk to a White Person/Cop, the first thing the White Person/Cop does, is to start a conversation saying "N-Word this---N-Word that", talking AT people instead of TO them, and so on.
Seriously. You have now lost the ability to say that Dems are making it all up.
More to follow. NBC said apparent suicide. Act is apparently result of major depression issues.
Looting, vandalism in Missouri following a shooting of a youth, by police, and identified on Saturday. Cop to be identified, possibly within the next 24 hours. Armed business owners guarding property.
