Another TAX. Where does it end? We are not asking them to do with less. Just NO MORE! We already have to many taxes. And there all to darn high. NO MORE.
VOTE NO on May 4th. The Toledo 3/4 % pay check tax !
Taxes Are Like Drugs, Just Say NO !

Hay, Toledo. Call your City Conunsel Members and Tell Them NO more Taxes or fees ! If they do, Don't re-Elect them !!! Better call all of them and the Mayor too. Or we will get taxed and fee'ed to death. Make cuts.
Tuesday morning at 7:30a Mike Bell will be on the show to talk about the budget turned over to City Council this afternoon. 'Nuff said.
Toledo Public Schools and Lucas County appear to wanted to try to dismiss a request to lower property values of Michaelmas Manor by 1 million on a technicality. Ohio Supreme Court says not so fast.

Tomorrow, February 4, 2010, the Toledo Board of Education meets in a special board meeting to, most likely, pass a resolution putting a levy on the May 4th primary election ballot.
It appears that Rich Iott has seen the folly of an independent bid for the 9th district House seat. We're gonna have us a good old fashioned primary! May the best candidate win, and may all republicans in the district unite behind the winner, and bring a friend or two! It will be fun to watch the two candidates make their case. And hopefully they both remember Ronald Reagan's 11th Commandment. "Thou shall not speak ill of another republican". And since I really doubt The Stain is a republican, have at it!

Thursday morning both Bob Latta and Lee Fisher will be guests on my show. Congressman Latta at 7:30, Mr. Fisher at 8:30. Should be fun.
I'm sorry Toledo, but Mike Bell made his bones as a democrat. I don't know why he didn't choose to run as a democrat, but I never believed that he wouldn't govern as one. Today he asked those of you left in the city who actually pay income taxes to pay more. From 2.25% to 2.5%. But it's only "temporary".
This week Jack Smith will be on Wednesday to discuss his run for the House seat currently held by Marcy Kaptur, Friday Rich Iott will be in to do the same. Should be fun.
It's Time for New Blood in Oregon. Please Vote tomarrow. Nov. 3rd. And put some new people in city govt. And on the school board.
New for city council: Kathleen Pollauf and Sandy Bihn
New for Oregon School Board: Diane Gadus
Lets support these people.
Also, not vote for any of the others and send a real message!
It's time.
I live in Sylvania Twp. I do agree that we have a high tax rate. (Though we get a higher level of services for what we pay too.)
However, there is an individual here who continually misrepresents the extent of that. Others have asked if he's not just confusing the purchase price of the home he looked at with the auditor's value. Of course, there's no response.
Sue Frederick the intrepid ticketer of illegally parked cars has struck again. As WSPD reported early this afternoon she is now stealing campaign signs from her neighbors lawns.
As Toledo City Councilman George Sarantou told Toledo Free Press Sept. 5, “We are in a fiscal emergency, and we would like permission from voters to use Capital Improvement Funds (CIP) for safety.”
We believe Toledo voters should give council that permission by voting “yes” on Issue 1 on Sept. 15.
We maintain great respect for councilman Tom Waniewski and councilwoman Lindsay Webb in their efforts to reduce government through passage of Issue 2, but we disagree with their stance.
Mayoral candidates Mike Bell and Keith Wilkowski will be on with me in the morning for final interviews before the primary on next Tuesday. The "lair" line comes from young Ben Konop who on his first scary visit to WSPD uttered those immortal words.
On Wednesday morning Mike Collins and Jim Moody join me for interviews about thier runs for Mayor. They had some tough words for each other in the Toledo Free Press debate earlier and we'll talk about that and some of the new things both are saying now that the election is just a week away.
Joe McNamara joined me on the show today to push for the passage of Issue 1, a proposal the mayor originally supported.
Toledo City Council elected not to increase the fee Toledoans pay for refuse collection by a vote of 6-5. Councilmen Joe McNamara, Wilma Brown, Phil Copeland, George Sarantou, and Steven Steel voted to increase the fee. Councilmen Tom Waniewski, Michael Collins, Lindsay Webb, Michael Ashford, Michael Craig, and Betty Shultz voted against the increase. Councilman Frank Solloszi was absent.
Friday morning I host the two heads of the YMCA/JCC for an hour long interview about the South YMCA. Robert Alexander, Pres. CEO, and Paul Schlatter head of the Board of Directors will be on to give us the final update on "the deal" and the future of the South Y location. Did the constant barrage of negative coverage hurt fundraising? What happens after three years? Is what Alexander makes important to the story?
Should be fun.
Well the Oregon School Board heard from the people. They voted 4-1 Not to put the levy request on the ballet this November.
The only Yes Vote was from Diane Karoly.
Wow she is just a mean BiT@H ! She was a little upset with the other Board Members for not voting yes. She stated that she was voting yes, just because she was. She did not care what the voters said or wanted.
This Bit@h has to go. Lets never vote for her again.
Call her and give her your thoughts:
