Joe and Jane Republican

This is Reality versus the Rhetoric of Republicans and the staunch Constitutionalists. Rhetoric needs to be more inline with the Reality and historyy of America.

The Constitution reading?

Only politicians could be so inept and stupid as to screw up something so simple as the reading of the Constitution. They actually had to have an advisory panel to tell them "what parts to read and what parts to leave out". What parts to leave out?
Of the document that they are to uphold and defend?
Is it any wonder that they CONSTANTLY go completely outside of there constitutional restraints treading all over our freedom and liberties?
Read about it below.

Republicans hold secret meeting

Here is something you won't hear on any TV, Radio or in any newspaper. The Lucas County Republican Party is holding a secret meeting this Weds. the 22nd of December at 7 PM. The secret location is at the Omni on 2567 W. Bancroft Street in Toledo. Agenda will be to vote on some secret stuff that the Chairman wants the rank file to rubber stamp and some worthless awards to be given out to the brain trust who didn't work for the candidates, but did all the Stain's bovine skedattle.

My Take on the 2010 Midterms

Took a few days off to rest after the election, so as not to risk repeating anything, I'll just say this....

What voters know Now.....

Which race will be most interesting tonight?

Cast Your Yard Sign where you Cast your Ballot

Today I recieved a call from a volunteer at the Rich Iott Headquarters. She asked me to take my yard sign and place it in the ground where I place my ballot. I told her I could do better than that and would like to ask you to do the same.

If you have an Iott, Latta, Sears, Earl, Matesz, Owens, Portman or vote Marcy Out, take it to your polling place and leave it for all to see.

545 PEOPLE -- By Charlie Reese

Got this in an e-mail. Very good read:

Charlie Reese, a retired reporter for the Orlando Sentinel has hit the nail directly on the head, defining clearly who it is that in the final analysis must assume responsibility for the judgments made that impact each one of us every day.

545 vs. 300,000,000

EVERY CITIZEN NEEDS TO READ THIS AND THINK ABOUT WHAT THIS JOURNALIST HAS IN THIS MESSAGE. READ IT AND THEN REALLY THINK ABOUT OUR CURRENT POLITICAL DEBACLE.

Charley Reese has been a journalist for 49 years.

Issa: Thank You George Soros

Representative Issa may have just became one of my favorite congressmen.

(H/T: Big Journalism)

WASHINGTON D.C. – Rep. Darrell Issa (R-CA), the Ranking Member on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform, released the following statement today thanking George Soros for his generous $1.8 million endowment to National Public Radio (NPR) and demonstrating why NPR no longer needs to receive or be eligible to apply for taxpayer dollars:

Rob Portman's magical plan

GOP Senate candidate Rob Portman explains his social security plan in a recent debate:

"During the debate and in the “spin room” with reporters afterward, Portman insisted he has pledged not to cut benefits for retirees. Instead, he said he supports allowing young people to take a small portion of their Social Security taxes to set up personal accounts to invest as they see fit. But he insisted if they lost money, the government would step in to make them whole again."

Food for thought

‎‎"A nation can survive its fools, and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gates is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banner openly. But the traitor moves amongst those within the gate freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their arguments, he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men.

GOP Plan Will Slash Benefits

Tagged:

A Republican plan to control the rising cost of Social Security would raise the retirement age and trim benefits for the 70 percent of earners. The proposal, put forward by Wisconsin Rep. Paul Ryan, would cut the benefits middle-income Americans who turn 65 in 2050 by a quarter, wealthier Americans by a third—and by as much as half if they turn 65 in 2080. Things don’t look much better under other plans to overhaul social security.

Does Kaptur mislead, snub and stiff Veteran Fundraiser?

MARCY KAPTUR FUMBLES VET FUNDRAISER

By Nick Haupricht for Veterans Today

Six months ago, I was approached by Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur (Dem) to organize a veterans monument in Toledo using a left over “stone” from the World War II Memorial in Washington. Six months later and thousands and thousands of dollars spent, no stone, no memorial, no support and lots of misinformation, inaccurate information and a member of congress running away at full speed. Why?,,,,,

Moral Majority Becoming Immoral Majority In GOP?

In the 1980's the Republican Party was swamped by what was then called the Moral Majority. A group of Christian evangelicals wrested control of the heart and soul of the GOP from the mostly moderate, business-oriented men and women who had controlled the party for generations. They took a stand against gay rights, abortions and other issues they considered "liberal". Mostly that was a good thing. They supported Biblical doctrine. In 2010 the GOP is faced with a new uprising: the Tea Party.

Someone who compares our founders to terrorists or a history buff who dresses in military garb

This Morning Red State had this headline "If Democrat Marcy Kaptur can’t tell the difference between Islamic terrorists and our Founding Fathers…

No wonder she's okay with assassinating Rich Iott's character. "

The real issue is not if Rich Iott is a Nazi, but is Marcy Kaptur sympathetic to Terrorists.

Food for thought

This gives a little perspective to what our current government is doing to us. See anything familier?

Rich Iott's Nazi romanticism

The Atlantic has an interesting story on how Rich Iott likes to pretend like he's a Nazi.
