Another Democrat, another car, another problem.

David Pepper, Democratic candidate for attorney general, racked up nearly $10,000 in fines for 180 infractions for a variety of violations including expired license plates, and parking tickets over a 14-year period. In all, Pepper was sent 169 delinquency violations for failing to pay tickets.

Eric Holder going to Ferguson

Eric Holder stated he has a very personal interest in this case. Is it personal enough to go there and dictate how he thinks the case should proceed? Holder did demand that the video of Brown's strong armed robbery not be shown. Seems to me he has already convicted the Officer in his mind. Where is he on everything else criminal. He sees no other violations in the administration though,

Natural gas execs fear they’re next for regs

They are probably correct in their fears….
Check it out:

Natural gas producers are keeping quiet about the controversial power plant rules from President Obama, fearing they could become the next target of federal regulators.

At least in the short term, a government-forced shift away from coal power would be a boon for the natural gas industry, which is already experiencing a renaissance thanks to advances in the drilling technique of fracking.

Big union movement complaining now about Obama

But labor organizations are now piping up regarding an Environmental Protection Agency proposal to cut carbon-dioxide emissions by 30 percent by 2030. The rules are intended to curb global warming.

Last week, Edwin Hill, president of the International Brotherhood of Electrical Workers (IBEW), penned an op-ed claiming the plan would “have a dramatic impact on the American economy but only a minimal effect on global carbon emissions.”

What's a few birds if it moves the green energy myth forward........

Too damn funny. Liberal Dem heads must be exploding all over the country. Do we protect the birds or the environment? What to do, what to do..... http://www.toledoblade.com/Technology/2014/08/18/Emerging-solar-plants-s...

NEW BLACK PANTHERS

New Black Panthers stated "We don't have a problem with Al-Qaida, we don't have a problem with Islam. We have a problem with White People". Well that just about says it all. They, The NEW Black Panthers would probably join ISIS/Al-Qaida anyway, while all the other Christian blacks get slaughtered. And this is the group that Sharpton and a lot of people in black communities rally with. Oh! and one more thing, some were saying they were looting in St Louis on behalf of Michael Brown. Ok, I get it, lets destroy our community because we have what we feel is an excuse now to do it.

Is the president a mau mau? this man seems to think so

http://www.theblaze.com/stories/2014/08/14/raw-video-new-black-panther-p... i'll have to check with prunefart and others to see if this is in fact racist

Okay Teabaggers, why is there an Impeach Obama booth out front of the Oregon Kroger

Seriously. You have now lost the ability to say that Dems are making it all up.

Deadline passes

Michigan's inept union leadership missed the July 7th deadline to get a referendum on the November ballot to permanently repeal the state's right to work law. You would have thought that with the rep of being home to the unions, and a union state that they could have gotten the required 322,609 signatures but they didn't. They got zero, they rolled over and played dead.

Erin Brockovich talks about Toledo's water issues

Erin Brockovich knows a thing or two about tainted water. The case she helped to build against Pacific Gas and Electric's contamination of the water supply in Hinkley, California was portrayed in a movie that starred Julia Roberts playing Brockovich.

Brockovich has shared her views on Toledo's recent water problems, as well as how Mayor Collins handled it (link on next page).

Not easy being green #453

The Scottish government has commissioned a report into the health effects of wind farms at 10 sites across the country, following concerns that many people may be suffering from the effects of infrasound emitted from the turbines.
The Sunday Express reports that campaigners are concerned that the low frequency sounds produced may be causing people living nearby to suffer headaches, nausea, insomnia, dizziness and raised blood pressure.

When Did Collins Know About Potential Water Problems?

The 13abc I-Team has uncovered a letter from the Ohio EPA showing concerns about the city's water system dated in June.

The letter warns the city about the lack of progress being made to improvements at Toledo's Public Water System, in particular the Collins Park Water Treatment Plant.

It goes on to say the plant is vulnerable to potential failures that could severely impact the city's ability to provide enough safe water to its citizens.

Right To Work-Fast Track To Disaster

THE ASSOCIATED PRESS
LANSING, Mich. -- A new federal report says Michigan's economy has continued its steady recovery from the Great Recession, growing 2 percent in 2013 and staging a faster comeback than the nation as a whole over a four-year span.

Editorial

SEIU EIEIO

In Michigan, where the SEIU had dues deducted directly from Medicare checks sent to people cared for in their homes by loved ones, the practice ended when lawmakers passed legislation in 2012 making it a right-to-work state. Membership among those previously classified as home health workers plunged by 80 percent by some estimates, but the SEIU kept people previously classified as union members on its rolls unless they affirmatively opted out during a one-month annual period.

RepubliDems

After initial success in cutting federal spending and reducing deficits, House Republicans have drifted into the red with a series of tax measures and spending bills that are not offset — either adding to the pile of debt or hiding the costs with accounting gimmicks.

More than a dozen bills with costs that are not fully offset elsewhere in the budget have passed the Republican-controlled House and threaten to add nearly $1 trillion to federal debt over the next decade.

Ebola: The US diagnostic test is a lie

Ebola: The US diagnostic test is utterly unreliable. When researchers and doctors are talking about a germ-caused disease, everything depends on the accuracy of the diagnosis. That's where it all starts.

So here is a blockbuster.
The US diagnostic test for Ebola is utterly unreliable.
Using the test to claim a patient has Ebola or doesn't have Ebola is scientific fraud.
Therefore, any pronouncements made by the Centers for Disease Control, where all the US testing is done, are worthless.

This guy cracks me up

He wants to be Governor but for years was unwilling to follow the very laws of the state. http://www.dispatch.com/content/stories/local/2014/08/04/Fitz_driver_lic... Liberal politicians, you gotta love 'em. http://www.cleveland.com/open/index.ssf/2014/08/what_we_know_--_and_what...

IMO, Water Scare Will Turn Out To Be A HOAX!

I hope all the test results will be CAREFULLY checked, and published so we can see for ourselves what is going--and NOT let some political hacks explain it for us! Specially the part where huge tax increases will be needed to keep Toledo healthy!

Kasich's illegal appointment to Director of Health

Defend this, conservatives!

On Friday afternoon Kasich released a statement saying he was going to appoint Rick Hodges as Director of the Ohio Department of Health. Hodges, a former lawmaker, currently leads the Ohio Turnpike Commission. Hodges will be replacing Dr. Ted Wymyslo… and that “Dr.” part is kind of important.

According to Ohio Revised Code 121.10:

The director of health shall be either:

(A) A physician holding the degree of doctor of medicine from a medical college approved by the state medical board who, before assuming his duties, has been licensed to practice medicine in the state and who has had experience in pursuing some phase of medical practice;

(B) An individual who has had significant experience in the public health profession.
