Great article about a newspaper interview session, where reporter writes "blah blah blah..." when FEMALE Republican is answering one of their questions.

Another Republican who spots what is going on - calls out the boot-licking reporter. That Republican gets kicked out of the meeting.

AC's Favorite Song, Maybe?

I was just wondering if this might be ac's favorite song?

Maybe the blade should clean-up its own act before going after others

The Blade loves to find a good (created or otherwise) "scandal" and blow-it-up to proportions it doesn't deserve. This week it's Joe the Plumber getting a job at the Jeep plant. Wow--that's some good readin'.

But the Blade seems to be in a bit of its own conundrum lately. You see--Joe Zerby, the president and general manager of the Blade, is also the chairman of the University of Toledo Board of Trustees. This probably makes J.R. Block giggle with excitement to think that he now has a foothold in the operation of one of the biggest employers in Toledo.

Recently, UT employees have noticed that negative comments posted on the newspaper's website about UT President Lloyd Jacobs (or about the University) are quickly pulled from the site. I witnessed this myself last week with a comment attached to an article about one of UT's $1,200-a-day employees, Richard Stansley, resigning.

An individual had marveled at how Jacobs keeps his job considering declining enrollment, a member of his upper management team being investigated by the Federal government, and several other issues of which I can't recall. I checked the website a couple of hours later and sure enough--all of the other comments remained, but the one criticizing Jacobs was deleted. And there's more.

Seattle Hosts Progressive Media Gathering - Is Radio Dead?

You gotta love it--liberal journalists getting a taste of Russia at the olympics

As the Russian Olympics approach, the U.S. journalists covering the event are tweeting their displeasure with their accommodations. Imagine that. The same people who gush over the theories of Marx and Lenin are now living the effects of what decades of Communism does to a country. Couldn't happen to a better group!

One reporter tweeted that her hotel has no water, and she was told by the front desk that if the water is restored "do not use it on your face because it contains something very dangerous."

Much has been made of the billions of dollars that Russia has put into preparing its infrastructure for the Olympics, but is that enough to take a country that has been deteriorating for one hundred years and bring it up to the 21st Century? Apparently not.

Too bad that none of these liberal media members has the ability to make the connection between Russia's past and Obama's plan for the United States' future.

The incomplete interview and commentary from WSPD on CAC

I listened,

This podcast conspicuously misses the pre-break commentary from Fred and Sarah...

Fred and WSPD prove themselves to be unfairly unbalanced once again.

Get the full thing and put it on the website with an apology for the selective editing.

If the Grammy Awards represent the best in musical entertainment, then the recording industry has hit (pardon the pun) rock bottom. Here's my summarized review of the show:

At any point during the festivities, was the host speaking English?

Did the country music kid who played the piano and sang some song about being invisible ever actually hit a note found on any known scale?

Beyonce should appreciate the fact that since she's black, undulating around your husband isn't considered "twerking." (I guess it's one of those double standards.)

Did I hear it wrong or did the lyrics of the new Paul McCartney song include "O-U-T spells out"? (Made me yearn for a Yoko Ono performance.)

On a positive note, I was glad to see that the Star Wars Stormtroopers have taken up a career in music. (Album of the Year--impressive!)

Duck Dynasty Is Fake!

Main Stream Media at its best!

Once again, CNN shows how relevant it really is by not only getting its story wrong, but by getting the hopes of a hard working store owner up. Do you really think CNN would make good with its huge mistake? Nah....;_yl...

The Brainwashing of My Dad

"Syria Danny" says "get the gunfire sounds ready"?????

In other words - a lot of what the mainstream media is dishing out - screaming for our involvement in Syria - are PAID ACTORS !!!!!!

We - the American public - who are forced to pay for all this stupid, deadly, foreign intervention - we are BEING "HAD", LIED TO, SHOWN FAKE "NEWS" STORIES, FED FAKE INTERVIEWS [such as the one on PBS with G. Ifill & J. Woodruff].... you name it.

Banning More Books - Cranky Mom Wants ‘The Diary Of Anne Frank’ Censored Because It Contains A Ladybit

A parent in Northville is upset over Frank’s references to her own genitalia in the diary. She says the passages made her daughter uncomfortable and that the school should have requested parental permission before assigning it to students. ’It’s pretty graphic, and it’s pretty pornographic for seventh-grade boys and girls to be reading,’ Horalek told the Detroit’s Fox affiliate. ‘It’s inappropriate for a teacher to be giving this material out to the kids when its really the parents’ job to give the students this information.’

The passage that had Horalek’s daughter so upset?

Oprah Winfrey's brush with racism in Swiss boutique sparks international uproar after employee refused to show her $38K bag

I read this article in the Toledo Blade yesterday and found it interesting. I looked up the article on the internest and found it amazing how it's being interpreted. Most of the comments on the internet are critisizing Oprah for the incident. Even though the article said she never said the incident happened because of race the media has turned this incident into a story on racism.

Lopez Doesn't Know What To Say Without A Script

WNWO had a great piece last night on the Mayor's race in Toledo. Lopez stumbled through and the Youtube video of it is being watched all over the state.

Should a local Toledo talk show host use a police investigation to promote his career? Nance Grace radio host interview: How does giving national attention to the missing baby investigation help Toledo police? Will national attention cost Toledo taxpayers added expense in this investigation?

Corruption in Toledo? Nah.

I don't normally go to lib blogs like this, but they're attacking one of their own. Get the popcorn!

"The latest scandal to break involve 7 of her top political advisers (who also happen to work in her Auditor’s Office). They were all given huge raises totaling $131,147.73 out of the county budget. And most of these were right after these advisers worked on her 2010 election. Coincidence... I don’t think so. That’s an average raise of over $18,000! A politician who is using her elected office as a way to dole out cushy jobs to her political staff is not someone we can afford to promote to the Mayor’s office.
