Obama Care is here to stay. The United States is finally trying to care about its citizens.
Washington Post confirms Jonathan Gruber was a consultant for Obamacare - read this Hot Air post to see their argument unravel - warning, to see the lie unraveled does make your blood pressure rise.
No, not Mr. Myers' site. The supposedly all-new and improved government healthcare site is apparently unable to detect fraud.
With ongoing questions about whether Obamacare enrollees will be able to use their coverage, a couple of new surveys suggest that the newly insured are generally able to get the care they need.
Brookings fellow Niam Yaraghi observed "a positive association between the anti-ACA spending and ACA enrollment." Spending on negative Obamacare ads has outpaced spending on positive ads 15 to 1, according to media research. In Senate races where Democrats are running for re-election, which have been the major targets for anti-Obamacare ads, Yaraghi detected a spike in enrollment.
"This implies that anti-ACA ads may unintentionally increase the public awareness about the existence of a governmentally subsidized service and its benefits for the uninsured," Yaraghi wrote of his findings.
You cannot make this shit up.
"House Republicans intend to sue the Obama administration for unilaterally delaying the employer responsibility provision of the Affordable Care Act, Politico reported on Thursday, in effect trying to speed up the implementation of the health care law.
The lawsuit will come after the administration twice delayed the provision — which requires employers with more than 50 employees to pay a fine if they don’t offer affordable quality coverage — citing complaints from firms that claimed they wouldn’t be ready to meet its requirement by 2014.
“I think what’s happening with the veterans is a gift from God to show us what happens when you take layers and layers of bureaucracy and place them between the patients and the health care provider,” Carson explained. “And if we can’t get it right, with the relatively small number of veterans, how in the world are you going to do it with the entire population?”
So in other words, this asshole is HAPPY that this is going on and his God is an asshole who WANTS shit like this to happen in order to benefit His Chosen Republicans?
COMPASSIONATE CONSERVATISM, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN.
The Washington Post reports that more than one million people are receiving larger-than-deserved subsidies for their government-sponsored health insurance, but that the wizards in Washington aren't sure how to fix the problem. The story uses terms such as "federal insurance marketplace," "Affordable Care Act" and HealthCare.gov," but, perhaps not surprisingly, not "Obamacare." (Sorry for the absence of a link; my computer's software is only slightly better than the government's.)
What's the definition of insanity again?
Doing the same thing over and over and expecting a different result.
Dear "Fiscally Conservative" "Republicans" on SB: Please tell me how the taxpayer dollars spent by the House GOP in pursuit of their futile goal have NOT been wasted and are in fact completely justified.
Americans For Prosperity is struggling to find a way to attack Obamacare that fits the facts.
The Koch-funded conservative activist group is spending millions of dollars on TV ads aimed at undermining the Affordable Care Act and unseating Democratic senators who voted for it in their 2014 reelection fights.
But the ads keep falling flat upon examination of their claims.
That's what the headline should read, but that would be the truth, and the truth doesn't make for a good Obamacare horror story.
Starbucks CEO: We won't cut benefits because of Obamacare
"It's not about the law. It's about responsibility we have to the people who do work and who represent us," Schultz told CNN on Tuesday.
Pension funds are (as one poster formerly noted) essentially ponzi schemes.
They could only have survived if there were enough people being born to replenish the work force. But in 1973, 7 liberal morons on the U.S. Supreme Court decided that it would now be legal to murder Americans by the millions in abortion mills. Those murdered babies are now not available as adults to "replenish" the work force. They are not available to buy things, from toys to autos, to houses.
This is too funny. The IRS Employee UNION (those people who wanted Obamacare) that represents the IRS (those people who collect the Obamacare tax) WANTS OUT OF OBAMACARE.
From the Forbes Magazine website:
IRS Employees Union Is 'Very Concerned' About Being Required To Enroll In Obamacare's Health Insurance Exchanges

In yet another study on the "unintended" affects of O-care the premiums in Ohio will rise.
Just a little, 88%.
Of course to quote the President " If you like your healthcare plan you can keep it." Apparently that only if you have the 88% extra.
How long before NMFR appears to declare this debunked without providing any facts to support how "swimmingly" it's implementation is?
