Kaptur delivers health care Judas kiss

Great letter in the Toledo Free Press this week.
===
As we approach Good Friday and Easter, our thoughts turn to the sad story of Christ’s betrayal by Judas. Judas betrayed Christ with a kiss. A story of betrayal has been fomenting in U.S. Rep. Marcy Kaptur’s district and in the country at large. The majority of the American people feel their elected representatives have betrayed them and sold them for far more than 30 pieces of silver.

U.S. Bishops’ final plea to Congressmen: Do not pass pro-abortion health care bill

Washington D.C., Mar 20, 2010 / 09:41 pm (CNA).- In a final, urgent plea to prevent the passage of the current form of the Senate health care bill, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) on Saturday evening sent a letter to Congressmen asking them to vote “no.”

“For decades,” the letter says, “the United States Catholic bishops have supported universal health care. The Catholic Church teaches that health care is a basic human right, essential for human life and dignity.”

Carter and Clinton pollsters: What are you doing pushing healthcare?

Former Democratic president pollsters, Patrick H. Caddell and Douglas E. Schoen, wonder why the Democrats are so out of mainstream on healthcare. In the Washington Post, they say if healthcare is passed, it will result in bloodbath for Democrats in November. Obviously these two pollsters did not hear about reconciliation, which according to the slimy "leaders" is a perfectly legitimate way to railroad an unpopular law through. Yeah, very mainstream....

Why Obama and the Dems won't give up on "health care reform"

Any health care bill from Obama is a civil rights bill, that's all it is. It has nothing to do with health care but all to do with the over 100 new government agencies that will be created. Over 100 new agencies filled with union jobs that equate to imcompetence. Also in the bills are quota systems for all medical schools.

Obama's policies reflect who he is; they are the vehicles that masquerade as hope and change, which are the mechanisms for social justice and economic justice -- "meaningful legislation" through wealth redistribution. And now, through health care "reform," Obama will attempt to finish the job of applying positive liberties (what the government can do for you), ultimately attempting to forsake the Constitution, which is a charter of negative liberties (what the government cannot do to you), to apply the final judgment of the Civil Rights movement.

Unemployment up in 30 states due to "Hope and Change". BWAHAAAAA! SUCKERS!

How's that "Hope and Change" working out for you Democrats?

Unemployment rises in 30 states in January

By CHRISTOPHER S. RUGABER, AP Economics Writer Christopher S. Rugaber, Ap Economics Writer – 2 hrs 17 mins ago
WASHINGTON – Unemployment rose in 30 states in January, the Labor Department said Wednesday, evidence that jobs remain scarce in most regions of the country.

The data is somewhat better than December, when 43 states reported higher unemployment rates, but worse than November, when rates fell in most states.

Blatant Right Wing Radio Promotion- Mayor Bell On 1370 WSPD Tuesday 7:30

Public Apology From Fred LeFebvre

I must apologize publicly for something I said on air a few months ago, and am doing it here as well as on air Thursday.
When the Cash For Clunkers program began under the auspices of the Federal Govt. I jokingly said on air that "next we'll have Cash For Kitchens". Obviously I was joking because the idea of using tax dollars to help people buy appliances is so obviously ludicrous.

Cafferty wonders if Pelosi feels pain citizens go through after all expense paid trip to climatefest

The most ethical Congress is turning into the worst Congress on many levels. Even Jack Cafferty is tired of it (listen to the very end).

Former Athens County Democrat chair Susan Gwinn threatens blogger with suit

You would think that in a college area you would have a higher number of smart people, but the former Democrat chair of Athens apparently has taken a page out of the Jon Stainbrook book of politics, which is to threaten lawsuits against those who you don't like in an attempt to bully them. While leaders such as Larry Sykes, Carty Finkbeiner and Jon Stainbrook love to try to bully people into submission, things can only go so far. It is quite clear that Ms.

Completely Blatant Plug For Latta and Fisher On 1370 WSPD Thursday

Obama's teleprompter fails

Who is Ellie light?...

Unless you've been under a rock all weekend....you know that the internet once again illustrates why the dinosaur media is dying...and why the liberals want to prop up a state media in it's place....

Who is Ellie Light?

That is a question that a number of newspaper editors are now asking themselves. Ellie Light not only seems to be a prolific letter writer, but also a great supporter of President Obama.

Obama has suspicious number of letter-writing fans named 'Ellie Light'

Less than a month in office and Mike Bell wants a tax hike

I'm sorry Toledo, but Mike Bell made his bones as a democrat. I don't know why he didn't choose to run as a democrat, but I never believed that he wouldn't govern as one. Today he asked those of you left in the city who actually pay income taxes to pay more. From 2.25% to 2.5%. But it's only "temporary".

Stainbrook Refuses Tickets To Simpson Again

Just in on my cell. Stainbrook has once again refused to sell tickets to Jeff Simpson for tomorrow's Lincoln Dinner. Luckily Jeff is our guest tomorrow morning at 8a on 1370 WSPD. Should be fun.

The Nelson Buy-Off

Harry Reid basically bought a national healthcare vote from Nebraska Senator Ben Nelson. How? By offering Nelson our tax dollars to pay for medicade of the entire state of Nebraska. The cost will be $45 million over the next ten years...and it never ends...Nebraska will receive this sweet deal at our expense forever.

Michelle Obama: Harry Reid doesn't owe me an apology

http://www.politico.com/news/stories/0110/31452.html

First lady Michelle Obama told reporters Wednesday that Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid doesn’t owe her an apology over his racial comments about her husband’s electoral chances because she knows Reid so well.

“Harry Reid has no need to apologize to me because I know Harry Reid. I measure people more so on what they do rather than the things they say,” said Obama, in a roundtable with several media outlets, including POLITICO.

Is Ben Konop muscling aside competition?

People are telling me that JR Block threatened Democrat Party Chairman Redfern. Redfern was told that if Konop has an opponent in the primary everyone will suffer the consequences. Can anyone confirm this? What have you heard? JR wouldn't have done this without Konop's approval. It's despicable but I won't be surprised to learn that Konop is rigging his reelection through intimidation. And with Stainbrook's long-standing relationship with JR that our "leadership" is part of this.

America rising...the day of rekoning approaches...

Union Democrats

Tagged:

I am amazed at the union democrat. They think by votiing in people who will raise taxes it will help the working class. Their blind and unfounded hatred toward "the rich man" really clouds any common sense that could possibly enter their brain.

Now, the unions, after spending $60.7 million to get Barak Obama elected wanting his national healthcare program...finally realize that it has to be paid for somehow.
