Just in on my cell. Stainbrook has once again refused to sell tickets to Jeff Simpson for tomorrow's Lincoln Dinner. Luckily Jeff is our guest tomorrow morning at 8a on 1370 WSPD. Should be fun.

- St. James Holiness COGIC
St James Holiness Church of God in Christ in Toledo may have a set a nauseating new low. The church has had four convicted pedophiles operating in ministry with the Pastor’s knowledge. But that’s only the beginning of this shocking story which truly symbolizes why drastic reform is needed in COGIC now.
The pastor of St James, William James, Jr. didn’t put the men out of the church, it took legal action against them to stop their predatory activities.

The Toledo Journal is reporting online that Carty insulted blacks, and one of his top aide's confrims this!
The Journal is reporting that Mayor Finkbeiner made insulting remarks about black men and probably about black women. Mayor Finkbeiner turned down a recommendation to hire a black man because he would be "crucified" if he had two minorities serving as co-directors of the city's Youth Commission.

IF THE AVERAGE PERSON SEXUALLY ASSAULTS SOMEONE, YOU GET THROWN UNDER THE JAIL AND MUST REGISTER AS A SEX OFFENDER! IF A MEMBER OF TPD DOES IT...THEY GET 3 MONTHS AND COMMUNITY SERVICE!
Is there corruption among the ranks of the Toledo Police Department?
Sgt. Brandon was put back on the police force by an arbitrator after being fired, and is in trouble again after he called a woman a ho, and would not file her police report.
Read about that here:
http://abclocal.go.com/wtvg/video?id=6996832
And now former Toledo officer only gets three months behind bars with 5 years probation, after he put his hand down women's pants and touched and rubbed their private areas, while he was conducting traffic stops.

WSPD Reports On New Police Procedures
New procedures will be in place for Field Operations Officers with the layoffs after today. The elimination of the Theft Unit, Auto Theft Unit, Check Unit, and Reduction in Burglary Unit make these changes necessary.
Number 6 on the list is particularly troubling since most people who have been a victim of burglary are distraught already. It reads "Tell victims the report will be on file. DO NOT tell victims that a detective will call them or promise any follow-up that you cannot personally deliver. In most cases, there will be NO follow-up."

Julia Bates: What About Danny Brown?
I have written about my friend Danny Brown many times in print, in journals, and on this blog. He is a man wrongly incarcerated for a 1981 rape-murder, and who DNA evidence helped free in 2001.

Why aren't we adopting U.S. kids?
i could care less about celebrities adopting children, not that i am criticizing them, but this article brings up some good points.....
Pop star Madonna is back in the news; this time, heading back to the African nation of Malawi to adopt her second child.
You might remember all of the drama a few years ago when Madonna adopted a Malawi boy. Now she wants to adopt a girl, and a judge has said she will have to wait until Friday to see if she will get the go-ahead.

Philip J. Berg and the 9/11 Truth movement

Toledo Should Play Barry Manilow
A friend of mine visiting from Arizona mentioned (about Toledo) that he's never been to a city with so much rap music noise pollution. He was suprised Toledo is not constantly producing readings on the Richter scale. Here is an article about a judge forcing noise offenders to listen to music they don't like...in this case...Barry Manilow. I don't care for Barry...but anything beats living in a 24 hour rap concert like Toledo. Link to article.

Kwame Kilpatrick Going To Jail Tomorrow
Two months ago, he was living in a spacious, riverfront mansion. His next taxpayer-funded accommodation will be decidedly more cramped. Kwame Kilpatrick is set to go to jail Tuesday, and former inmates say it can be difficult to adjust to life in a malodorous 15-by-10-foot cell.

Toledo Municipal Court judges file petition in fund fight
The months-long battle between Toledo Municipal Court judges and Toledo city officials over the court's budget is now in the hands of another set of judges.
The seven municipal court judges filed a petition in Ohio's 6th District Court of Appeals Thursday against the city, Mayor Carty Finkbeiner, and the 12 members of city council.
You can tell it is an election year. Now state Reps are encouraging Cubbon to accept the union.
If you did not see, other politicians are jumping on the "gang up" on Cubbon bandwagon. I do think that she does have courage because she knew full well what her decision would bring.
