For those of you that listen to Rush Limbaugh, you might want to know he tried to fool you today. He did so by taking Sen. Tom Harkin's words out of context. Hopefully you all had the sense to check things out for yourselves before believing everything you heard.
God love Scott Walker! He's been dragged through the mud by the liberals and unions and has come out as a winner several times! The rest of the Republicans should take their cue from him.
Now's the time for Republicans to take the Country in a 180 degree different direction from Obama and his minions. Will they have the guts? Let's hope we don't hear any Republican say the following:
"We must reach across the aisle." (Nope--just use your majority to get things done the way the voters who elected you want them done.)
"We must repeal and replace Obamacare." (Repeal--yes, Replace--no.)
The true GOP Jobs Plan came out, and it's full of NOTHING, LITERALLY:
Here's my take on Boner's plan:
1) Talk a lot and do nothing
2) Endless Benghazi hearings to keep the morons riled up
3) Endless votes to repeal Obamacare
4) Shut down the government (again)
5) Hope the previous 4 are enough to get him and his buddies re-elected so they keep their jobs (instead of having to get new ones in the private sector).
"House Republicans indicated Tuesday that they will provide less than half of the White House's funding request to fight Ebola in the next government spending bill.
According to a source familiar with the negotiations, House Appropriations Committee Chairman Hal Rogers (R-Ky.) agreed as of Tuesday morning to spend a total of $40 million to fight the epidemic in the 2015 spending bill.
"Presidents don't get vacations — they just get a change of scenery. The job goes with you." -- NANCY REAGAN
Next right-winger here who makes a vacation-related remark is guilty of hypocrisy and making a liar out of The Most Holy Nancy Reagan.
Seriously. You have now lost the ability to say that Dems are making it all up.
The National Republican Campaign Committee has created fake news sites about House candidates, presumably to take advantage of readers who don't pay close attention to what news sources they read, National Journal reported.
Earlier this year, the NRCC got in some trouble for creating deceptive fake campaign sites for Democrats that ask people to contribute in order to help "defeat" the candidate.
WATCH FOR PELOSI AT BOTTOM OF SCREEN MARCHING OVER TO THE REPUBLICAN SIDE OF HOUSE TO RANT--SHE DOES IT TWICE. ABSOLUTELY CRAZY!
Iowa GOP Rep. Steve King reignited the debate Sunday about the Republican-led House considering impeachment proceedings for President Obama, just days after party leaders furiously tried to extinguish such talk.
King suggested on “Fox News Sunday” that the impeachment issue could be reconsidered if Obama again uses his executive powers to delay or defer deportation for illegal immigrants beyond those brought illegally to the United States in past years by their parents.
“I think then we have to start, sit down and take a look at that,” King said.
There are only two possibilities that Marcy Kaptur will ever be voted out of Congress: 1. If a viable Cleveland-area minority runs against her in the primary or 2. If her constituents would get a clue. After reading the comments on local blogs (including some on this site) and social media, she won't have to worry about the second item happening.
The one constant over the last 30 years in the Toledo-area is Marcy Kaptur. She keeps pointing her finger at Republicans--blaming them for the condition of Lake Erie--and her followers are buying it hook, line, and sinker. The ignorance is overwhelming.
Marcy Kaptur is the ranking Democrat on the House of Representatives Energy and Water Subcommittee of the Appropriations Committee. She sits at the table where budgeting decisions are made concerning Federal spending on bodies of water. On her website she brags about her membership on this committee, which she deems "appropriate given that the Ninth District hugs the Lake Erie coastline from Cleveland to Toledo."
Two things you don't want to face on a Saturday morning--a water "crisis" and a Marcy Kaptur interview.
So there was Marcy on television rambling on about how the Senate won't even consider the Lake Erie clean-up legislation that the House gives them. She was really disgusted with this and suggested that when the reporters get "other" Ohio politicians in front of the cameras that they ask them about this. One of two things just happened:
1. Marcy has somehow forgotten that her Party--the Democrats--own the Senate and that Harry Reid (another possible victim of senility) decides which legislation the Senate considers. So who was she so angry at--Sherrod Brown?
2. Or is it that Marcy knows that her loyal Northwest Ohio supporters are so stupid that she can act disgusted with the Senate and they'll just figure it's those damn Republicans. Whew!
There were massive protests across the nation in the past week. Where is the mainstream media on this? All but entirely silent.
So I googled photos of the protests, thinking to find maybe 5 or 10 pictures. Well, click in, and cursor down, and keep cursoring down. Here are, I assume, thousands of voters who will be at the polls this November: [A picture, indeed, is worth a thousand words.]
Here's the story:
This issue isn't going away. The Dems are going to pay politically for this deliberate illegal influx into the U.S. There is no rock they can hide under from this assault on the Constitution by their messiah this time. Wonder how many will sacrifice their cushy jobs in D.C., in order to protect bobo on this. Funny how you can't even recall the names of the Dem congressmen who did so in 2010.
"There’s not that big a difference between what you call the tea party and your average conservative Republican." -- John Boehner, (R), Speaker of the House
A Republican congressman from Florida makes a name for himself.
This website of a former NSA employee (if I recall his self-bio correctly), now living in Mexico is following current events, primarily the "shoot-down" in the Ukraine - and the truth about the Central America illegals [the truth being a little more available south of the U.S. b order].
So I read his site almost daily, to see how much coincides with what I am seeing (and not seeing) with my own eyes... the lying mainstream press not withstanding.
This is the excerpt that caught my eye today:
"July 21 2014
Russian satellites and American satellites recorded the truth
Too bad nut-job McCain isn't up for re-election. He would be out on his ear for sure.
But Americans of EVERY political persuasion have found an issue they agree on 100%:
The signs the protesters nationwide are holding up tell the entire story. Americans are last to be helped by American tax dollars - at all times. This illegal immigration, started in January by the president himself - is the very last straw. Finally, Americans have discovered a "last straw". Better late than never.
Brookings fellow Niam Yaraghi observed "a positive association between the anti-ACA spending and ACA enrollment." Spending on negative Obamacare ads has outpaced spending on positive ads 15 to 1, according to media research. In Senate races where Democrats are running for re-election, which have been the major targets for anti-Obamacare ads, Yaraghi detected a spike in enrollment.
"This implies that anti-ACA ads may unintentionally increase the public awareness about the existence of a governmentally subsidized service and its benefits for the uninsured," Yaraghi wrote of his findings.
You cannot make this shit up.
"House Republicans intend to sue the Obama administration for unilaterally delaying the employer responsibility provision of the Affordable Care Act, Politico reported on Thursday, in effect trying to speed up the implementation of the health care law.
The lawsuit will come after the administration twice delayed the provision — which requires employers with more than 50 employees to pay a fine if they don’t offer affordable quality coverage — citing complaints from firms that claimed they wouldn’t be ready to meet its requirement by 2014.
And will keep fighting:
This isn't going away. The American public has HAD it.
Locally, am waiting to hear something HONEST from Brown or Kaptur, because it is the Dems in congress pretending they can't act on this.
Or maybe I'm being too hasty... maybe Rep Kaptur and Senator Brown are planning to house some of these illegals -- in their OWN homes -- that are deliberately being shipped all over the country at taxpayer expense.... to small communities and farming areas.
