Libertarian candidates came to the Maumee library last night 3/15. They have a full slate of candidates , even a primary runoff with 2 candidates for US Congress district 9 !
http://www.lpo.org/ Each candidate gave a short , personal talk about their life and the role of limited government. Brian Wilson talked at the beginning about the basics of Libertarianism. The candidates were available afterwards, it was refereshing to see common folk running for office who understand government's limited role .

Hay, Toledo. Call your City Conunsel Members and Tell Them NO more Taxes or fees ! If they do, Don't re-Elect them !!! Better call all of them and the Mayor too. Or we will get taxed and fee'ed to death. Make cuts.

Thursday morning both Bob Latta and Lee Fisher will be guests on my show. Congressman Latta at 7:30, Mr. Fisher at 8:30. Should be fun.

This week Jack Smith will be on Wednesday to discuss his run for the House seat currently held by Marcy Kaptur, Friday Rich Iott will be in to do the same. Should be fun.

People are telling me that JR Block threatened Democrat Party Chairman Redfern. Redfern was told that if Konop has an opponent in the primary everyone will suffer the consequences. Can anyone confirm this? What have you heard? JR wouldn't have done this without Konop's approval. It's despicable but I won't be surprised to learn that Konop is rigging his reelection through intimidation. And with Stainbrook's long-standing relationship with JR that our "leadership" is part of this.

Back in September while giving a speech to Congress concerning Health Care, President Barack Obama was heckled by Senator Joe Wilson. Senator Wilson yelled out to the president, "you lie."
Well, last week after reading Steve Steel's Guest Column in the Sojourner's Truth newspaper, I shouted out to Steve Steel, "you lie." Well, this week I was joined by Jack Ford, Toledo Public School Board member.

Well Marge Brown sure showed off her uglyness last night. In the Mayor Debate.

She said " Nobody tell me what to do".

Marge has not been for the PEOPLE Of Oregon, EVER!

She has never worked for or with the people of Oregon.

Time to go Marge. Don't go away mad, just go away.

You will not win re-election. But don't blame it on your felon son! You have brought on ALL your problems all by yourself.

Elect a Mayor that will work with and for the People of Oregon. VOTE Mike !!!

The Person who used a Government Computer to look up info on Joe The Plumber, Charged with a Crime. Will Oregon Police Officer Jeff Brown be charged also. Or will the Lucas County Prosecutor and or the State just let this go?

That would be wrong. A Crime is a Crime. Is it not?

The person that looked up info on Joe The Plumber did it one time. And now this person is being charged with a crime.

Officer Jeff Brown of the Oregon, Ohio Police Dept. used the system to look up info on a girl friend 11 times or more. And are not Police Officers to be held to a higher standard?

DO NOT VOTE FOR MARGE BROWN For Mayor ! She has her son and another family member on the Oregon Police Dept. O'yes. Why ? Marge needs to go. She and her whole family are just Bad News for Oregon !

Officer Jeff Brown of the Oregon Police Dept. committed several crimes when he used a computer system at the Oregon Police Dept. to get info on a woman. He did this several times both on and off duty.

This is un-authorized use of a govt. computer. Felonies!

So just why is he not being charged with a crime? This is just Wrong!

He got a 20 day suspension. Big deal. He should have gotten FIRED!

Sylvania Township candidate for trustee John Jennewine has been order to appear before the Ohio Election Commission for a hearing on Thursday October 15. According to the OEC a complaint was filed against Mr. Jennewine in September, alleging that his campaign signs were either improper or illegal, and that his campaign was accepting or spending monies without a designation of treasurer.
