Cheney sez review of interrogation methods is political
(CNN) -- Former Vice President Dick Cheney said in an interview broadcast Sunday that the Justice Department's decision to review waterboarding and other enhanced interrogation techniques is politically motivated. "I think it's a terrible decision," Cheney said on "Fox News Sunday." "It's clearly a political move. There's no other rationale for why they're doing this." How about the rationale being that torture is illegal and immoral, contravenes the principles of this country, and is the refuge of scoundrels and cynical politicos, Dick?

statement in response to Vice President Biden's visit to Perrysburg
earlier today.
"If the Obama administration truly wants to protect and create jobs, the

Sobczak resigns
June 11, 2009
Dear Mr. Dendinger,
It is with a strong sense of optimism for Toledo's future that I tender my
resignation as President and an At-Large member of Toledo City Council.
This resignation takes effect following the City Council meeting on June 23.
During my three-and-a-half-years on City Council, I have sought to be a
voice for labor and to bring about a successful blending of the needs of my
fellow union brothers and sisters with the needs and wants of the city's
residents. I hope time will show this approach has been successful.

Cheney Defiant!
Has anyone noticed how whenever "The One" makes a speech Vice President Cheney know is either skewed, or outright false, Cheney not only defends himself-but is downright defiant? It's about time if you ask me, and thank God someone has the stones to do it!!
