As noted by George Joyce at the American Thinker, in his speech in Cairo while sucking up to the Muslim world, President Obama made the statement, "Given our interdependence, any world order that elevates one nation or group of people over another will inevitably fail.”

Affirmative action promotes minorities over the majority simply because of racial and ethnic status. Effectively, affirmative action is telling minorities that they are too stupid to make on their own and they need outside help to make anything out of their lives.

It's good to see Obama realizes this and is coming around on the issue.

OK. I am trying to keep an open mind about our President, but if he says one more time he "inherited" the problem I am going to puke. I don't care where the problem came from just fix it. This guy spends too much time on PR and not enough time running the country.

And for the record Mr President - what you inheritied was at the very least was liberal economics - but I am willing to meet you half way and say it was both the republicans and the democarts that started this mess.

What you inherited is now your job to fix. Be a leader.

Apparently, Rep. Jim Jordan (R-Urbana) just doesn't get the church-state separation thing.

Over the past three years the median value has dropped from $110k in 2006, to $106.6k in 2007, and $91.2k in 2008. This is bad news for Toledo home owners and let us not forget who brought us here. Under Restructuring, GM To Build More Cars Overseas

The U.S. government is pouring billions into General Motors in hopes of reviving the domestic economy, but when the automaker completes its restructuring plan, many of the company's new jobs will be filled by workers overseas.

According to an outline the company has been sharing privately with Washington legislators, the number of cars that GM sells in the United States and builds in Mexico, China and South Korea will roughly double.

More than 300 auto workers rallied in Kenosha Monday night, booing Chrysler’s decision to close their engine plant and urging President Obama and Chrysler to reverse the move.

WARREN - It didn't attract a crowd that covered every blade of grass in downtown Warren's Courthouse Square, but as one of the organizers suggested, Saturday's middle-class worker rally was a start.

Toledo Independent City Council At-Large Candidate Stephen Ward, calls for salary reductions in city administration. Recently, Councilwoman Lindsay Webb and Councilman Tom Waniewski along with the organization, Toledo COBRA held a press conference calling for a reduction in City Council from twelve members to nine. They cited that half of Toledo faces under-representation, and also tax dollars can be used to maintain some police officers.

NEW YORK (CNN) -- A White House official apologized Monday after a low-flying Boeing 747 spotted above the Manhattan skyline frightened workers and residents into evacuating buildings. Witnesses reported seeing the plane circle over the Upper New York Bay near the Statue of Liberty. The huge aircraft, which functions as Air Force One when the president is aboard, was taking part in a classified, government-sanctioned photo shoot, the Federal Aviation Administration said.

Earlier this month, President Barack Obama nominated Mothers Against Drunk Driving CEO Chuck Hurley to head up the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA).

"First-term congressman Bob Latta (R-OH) believes that President Obama’s energy reform policy means that Obama “has declared war on Ohio and Indiana.” Latta, who won his seat with the support of $34,250 in oil and gas money, claimed that setting standards for global warming pollution is tantamount to a military invasion of his state.

I went to the ESM at midday on a weekday and witnessed the hustling, bustling, happy crowds of people enjoying themselves and contributing to the economic vitality of the Warehouse District.

The White House immediately denied the existence of the letter to President Dmitry Medvedev, but acknowledged “ongoing internal deliberations over a measured response using all the tools of U.S. power, including diplomacy.”

I was reading a story from The Hill where in the President's Spokesman Robert Gibbs made the following statement regarding how terrible it is that Rush Limbaugh says he wants President Obama (and his policies) to Fail, said Gibbs:
