One church, four pedophiles...church was home to four men convicted of sexual crimes against youth in Toledo

St James Holiness Church of God in Christ in Toledo may have a set a nauseating new low. The church has had four convicted pedophiles operating in ministry with the Pastor’s knowledge. But that’s only the beginning of this shocking story which truly symbolizes why drastic reform is needed in COGIC now.

The pastor of St James, William James, Jr. didn’t put the men out of the church, it took legal action against them to stop their predatory activities.

TPS more questions than answers forum

For too many years questions have not been asked, answered or acted upon here in Toledo.. It is long past due for the people to express themselves and ask the questions that they want answers too. The MORE QUESTIONS THAN ANSWERS FORUM will at least allow the public to ask the questions at an OPEN MIKE FORUM. Getting the answers or action on these questions will be a little bit harder. But the mike will be in your hands as you ask the questions that you and your family desperately need to have asked.

This year's Diocese of Toledo Red Mass will be celebrated by His Excellency, Bishop Leonard P. Blair STD at Rosary Cathedral on Sunday September 27, 2009 at 11:00 am. This will be the third annual Red Mass, and it will be a bit different from the last two. First, it will fulfill the Sunday obligation of Roman Catholics (the last two Masses were on Thursday nights). Second, the dinner program with featured speaker will be replaced by a coffee-and-doughnuts social after Mass in the auditorium. Third, the annual Jack Schlageter Award (JSA) will be presented at the end of Mass by Bishop Blair.

St. Rose a church frozen in time

Am I the only one who wonders why the parishioners of St. Rose in Perrysburg don't tell the bishop to butt out of their church's life. I read somewhere the true church is the body of believers. What I read about St. Rose makes me feel the church in Perrysburg is stuck in the fourteenth century and dictated by the robes in Rome. Perhaps the bishop is just reminding the members of St.
