We all know what the fallout is going to be. A company or two will relocate outside of Toledo, which means a handful of jobs leave with them. Toledo will not get all of the Homeland Security dollars we thoughts we were going to get this year. Finally Toledo is now going to become a third Triva Pursuit card, behind "where is the glass city" and "what city tried the move the death people to the airport?"

What will happen to Carty? A few tounges will get wagged at him from WSPD and several national media outlet, but little else. The only thing that might mean anything to him is if someone comes up from Columbus and tells him that they are pulling the party's entire support. At least WSPD will get a few more rating points out of the deal.

Obviously it would be great if he step down. If he wanted to save face, he could say its for health reasons. At least he could leave with some face.

How is it he "just found out" about Swartz and his inappropriate language? How does Carty not know about all of this stuff? I cringe every time I hear that man's voice.

Did I just hear Carty endorse John McCain? I wonder if John McCain accepts his words of encouragement?

Why would Carty call a Michigan radio station instead of a "Toledo Pride" local station to explain himself?

First he talks about our having sections of the city that are no longer 'viable' and empty buildings, then he talks about how our city is SO BUSTLING with activity that this is why he said no. Has anybody actually been downtown Toledo? I have. It's pretty much a ghost town.

Oh why does he keep talking? Now he's onto John McCain. Why can't somebody keep this man from free association on the radio?
