Children of Liberty candidate forum

The Children of Liberty held their second candidate forum tonight at the Sylvania Branch library in Sylvania Ohio. The candidates who spoke were Ben Konop, Kevin Milliken, and PREZ Washington. Other candidates in attendance were John Adams and Michael Watson. There were about 30 people at the event this evening.

WHY: To Introduce Independent Coalition of Candidates for Toledo City Council

Teamwork Toledo will officially launch a collective campaign for Toledo City Council at a press conference on Monday, May 18, 3 p.m. at International Park. All six candidates who represent Teamwork Toledo will run as an independent slate.

Michael Watson to declare his Toledo council at-large candidacy

Michael Watson will declare his candidacy for an at-large seat on Toledo City Council on Thursday, May 7, 9:30 am outside One Government Center. Michael will run as an independent. Following his announcement, Michael will proceed to the Lucas County Board of Elections office on the third floor to take out petitions.
Michael is a father of four and a long-time resident of Toledo. The 44-year old has been a local truck driver for the past 19 years. He recently was a keynote speaker at the Toledo Tax Day Tea Party.
