Of course Marcy wants to spend more money to have a bullet train, but still, her lack of enthusiasm is noted.

The Hill is reporting the latest on the PMA Scandal and the investigation of the Office of Congressional Ethics. It says three people being investigated will be referred. Marcy Kaptur has not been cleared yet and did not tell The Hill if she was cleared. Other members have in previous stories. It is odd that she has not said anything.

The independent ethics office has referred three cases of alleged misconduct in the last three months to the full House ethics committee for further review.

This coming Tuesday, the Susan B. Anthony List will be stopping in Toledo on a 10-city tour to ask Rep. Marcy Kaptur to vote against any health care reform that funds abortion! Here are just a few links to info about the tour:

In 1991, James Carville coined the phrase "It's the economy, stupid" when Bill Clinton ran against George H.W. Bush. It was effective and Mr. Clinton won.

Well, President Obama, "It's jobs, not health care" that is the number one issue on people's minds. Month after month, the media try to get us to believe the economy is getting better as more and more of my friends and family lose jobs.

Last April, Congresswoman Marcy Kaptur of Ohio attended a Washington dinner where Jamie Dimon, the CEO of JP Morgan Chase, was a speaker. Kaptur, whose district includes Toledo and counties along the Michigan border, had recently been told by local realtors that JP Morgan Chase was a top forecloser in the area—and this in a district devastated by the economic downturn. Foreclosures had almost doubled, unemployment was close to 20 percent in some areas, and Toledo was now the eighth poorest city in the nation.

Marcy did not support the Yankee's resolution because she is a Dodgers fan.

As a diehard fan of "The Boys of Summer" - the Brooklyn Dodgers - and more generally, of the underdog, Ohio Rep. Marcy Kaptur said she had no choice but to oppose the amendment.

"The Brooklyn Dodgers - that's when baseball was a sport and not a business," said the Democrat from Toledo.

The Hill is reporting on the latest saga on the Kaptur's involvement with the PMA scandal investigation. Kaptur wants to clarify that she never was approached by the full ethics panel, but has been interviewed by the Office of Congressional Ethics (OCE). Reps. Jim Moran (D-Va.) and Marcy Kaptur (D-Ohio) both spoke to the Hill about this.

According to Columbus Dispatch, Marcy's spokesperson says "Kaptur was attempting to help Toledo-area companies"

Hmm, then why do you need donations?

Note Xunlight came up again in this article. If you investigate the times of the donations, who they donated to, then when they get federal money, the timing is quite interesting.

But let's not forget, this "helping them" reasoning has been used more than once.

General Motors didn't allow Michael Moore into the GM Renaissance Center for press interviews before the Detroit premiere of 'Capitalism: A Love' story even though they were invited in advance. The interviews had to be moved to the Marriott across the street, but after the interviews had finished, Mike went into the Renaissance center anyway and we became our own press.

WASHINGTON — A proposal to establish a federal power marketing agency in the Great Lakes, and possibly use its proceeds to fund improvements or expansion of the St. Lawrence Seaway, is not included in the latest climate change bill floated in the Senate, suggesting the issue will fall to a House-Senate conference committee next year.

Marcy makes it to another movie screening of Capitalism, but we are still waiting for a town hall. This puts her at least 3 screenings (NY, Detroit, D.C.) and 0 town halls.
