Audio from Lucas County BOE meeting where Gallagher was fired

Got this tip from the Toledo Tea Party Web site:
=======

We know many people were not able to attend this historic meeting, but are curious about the reports they have heard from the meeting. This is the audio from the March 4th, 2014 Lucas BOE meeting in which Director Gallagher was fired, and Gina Kaczala was appointed as new Director. Notes below....

Delaney pleased with Gallagher dismissal

The only downside to this is now she can focus on party shenanigans.

Meghan Gallagher Allegedly Abuses Fellow BOE Employee...Again

My sources in the BOE tell me that once again Ms Gallagher has lost the plot, and shown her total lack of respect towards her underlings. Ms. Gallagher allegedly verbally and physically abused a fellow colleague today. My sources also tell me that the BOE board members were so incensed with Ms Gallagher's behavior, that they had the yet unnamed employee file a incident report with the police and prosecutor.

BOE chooses not to remove director and deputy director at Feb. 26 meeting

On Feb. 25, consultants tasked by the Ohio Secretary of State with evaluating the Lucas County Board of Elections recommended that Director Meghan Gallagher and Deputy Director Dan DeAngelis be fired. However, at a Feb. 26 board meeting, no movement was made toward removing either employee.

Also on Feb. 26, Ohio Secretary of State Jon Husted officially removed the Lucas County Board of Elections (BOE) from the Secretary of State’s Office (SOS) administrative oversight and assistance.

Time Ide says Jon Stainbrook asked him to campaign at county HQ

Within the past year, a director and two board members resigned, at least three full-time employees quit and four were fired. Since firing the information technology manager, the board has yet to find a replacement. Tim Ide, who worked for the board for almost a year, was not fired. He just stopped going in.

Board of Elections - Problems With Election Ballots!

The Lucas County Board of Elections has 1,092 ballots that could be added to last week's Toledo primary election count, putting the final results for Toledo City Council in doubt.

The additional ballots include 166 absentee ballots accidentally left uncounted last Tuesday, Director Linda Howe said Monday.

She said two employees, a Republican and a Democrat, have received reprimands in their files and have come up with procedures to avoid a recurrence of the neglected ballots.
