One of the biggest obstacles Toledo has in attracting businesses and wage earners to this city is the income taxes charged. As long as Toledo has one of the highest income tax rates in the region, businesses will continue to go to other counties and townships and states. As long as Toledo continues to have one of the highest income taxes in the region, well paid wage earners will continue to flee the city. The proof is quite evident in the growth of Wood County and in our suburbs.

Can We Believe Anything Moody Is Saying?
Just recently Jim Moody stated what vehicles he had in his household. He failed to reveal that his wife has a 1980 Mercedes Benz . He only talked about the American made vehicles he and his wife own. He claims he thought the questions was how many vehiches he personally owns. I guess Mr. Moody doesn't understand the rules about community property. If his wife owns the vehicle, he owns it also. It is my belief that Mr. Moody is an extremely intelligent man, and therefore, I do not believe he misunderstood the question. Intelligent people like Mr.

Jim Moody: Jump Starting Construction In Toledo
We need to get Toledoans back to work...now! Every economist in the world will acknowledge that construction can be a great economic engine. I propose that we begin a program that jump starts our residential and commercial construction so that we can get carpenters, electricians, painters and the like back to work. The financial boon to Toledo as a result of the economic multiplier could be staggering. I urge our professional politicians and elected officials to adopt the following.

The Lucas County Republican Party yesterday announced its slate of endorsed candidates for the six at-large Toledo City Council seats and the mayoral seat.
Jim Moody has been endorsed for the mayoral race.
For the council race:
Mark Clark, Jeff Cromwell, Rob Ludeman, George Sarantou, Hans Schnapp, and Constatine Stamos.
Well, I thank Jon Stainbrook for endorsing these candidates, now I know who I WON'T vote for!
Rob Ludeman? Yea right....Toledo needs a change, and he did nothing when he was on council before. We need to move Toledo forward, not backwards!

Moody "Straightforward" on Conklin and Company
Mayoral candidate Jim Moody, joined by two other mayoral candidates, was the guest of Lee Conklin of WTVG's Conklin and Company today, June 28th. "I think today once again demonstrated why Toledoan's have so much faith in our campaign," said Moody. "I was the only candidate to truly answer the questions asked, instead of speaking scripted talking points. I am concerned that if the other candidates can't answer questions in a straightforward manner as a candidate, what we can expect of them as a Mayor?"
