I would like to propose we rename the Road To No Where at the Marina District the
Carlton S Finkbeiner Road to No Where in honor of our previous mayor who did so little
with so much.

Bell should go after Carty for the $450,000 he cost the city
If Toledo is in such dire straights why don't Mayor Bell go after Carty for the the money
he cost the city to settle the lawsuits? Bell is putting everything else on the table including
raising taxes. Carty had a lot to do with creating this budget mess in the first place.
Also, there is still some fat that can be cut, namely Board of community relations. This is just a racist department that no longer belongs in this city or in our society.

Toledo you have another Holiday
Don't forget to move up your trash day and attend a garbage placement class near you.
Your trash won't be picked up if you don't follow the rules. Also, remember the trash cops will fine you if you put your trash out early or leave the containers out late. There are cameras on the trucks watching what you throw out so don't mix your trash with recyclables
or you will get a fine.
Enjoy your Thanksgiving Toledo, you have a lot to be thankful for!

Crime Stats
Hmmm...Toodledoo placed 64th of nearly 400 cities in the FBI City Crime Rankings for 2008...I would attach the PDF if things were working right...But things are not working real well out here in "corn country" tonite...Check out Fox News for the article, or this link... http://os.cqpress.com/citycrime/citycrime2008_rank_rev.pdf ...hope i got that part right...
Only in Toledo do you have to take a class to put out your garbage
Unbelievable, the citizens in Toledo are going to classes on how to put out your garbage.
It won't be that long before this hits the National news. Watching the people on TV they are so engrossed in the class they overlook how stupid this is. It is easy to understand how the politicians get away with this nonsense.

Carty takes credit for the new Casino
I am going to miss him. There is never a dull moment. Just when you think you seen it all he surpasses himself. He needs a good rocking chair and some grandchildren on his lap to tell all the wonderful things he has done to Toledo.

According to Carty, it is not unusual to get red light camera tickets dismissed
Carty is officially off the rocker. He tries to explain that his tickets that were dismissed are normal and happen all the time. What are your experiences? From the Blade:

Toledo News Media needs to keep Toledoans Informed
We need a red alert system or something similar when Carty hits the road. The man is a very aggressive driver to say the least and all citizens on the road when he is are at risk. He speeds and runs red lights because he can. Its a matter of time before he causes an accident and hurts or kills someone. Hopefully, it won't be in a city vehicle resulting in
a lawsuit the city can't afford to pay. I wish Toledo's Television and Radio media would consider doing this. If it just saves one person it is worth it.
Carty hires relative at $25/hr to plant flowers
I believe the relative is his son-in-law. Carty said his relative won a landscape award but no one has any record or can confirm it. Believe it or Not!

Should Toledo spend two million dollars on flowers to beautify the city

Carty calls reporters rude for asking him for the results he promised last year
What is even more humorous is he says flowers don't bring people in, then turns around and says flowers creates jobs and everyone lets that go. If that is not bad, he then says the reason that Sylvania and Perrysberg and Maumee wins awards was because in 93 Toledo won an award. See the Fox Toledo video below.

Wheres the MONEY Carty?
Its been weeks since you said Dillion would have a check. Then a couple weeks ago you said it would be wrapped up in 72 hours. Wheres the MONEY? There is a road to no where
in the Marina District that the taxpayers are paying for.
What about the 4 Detroit Investors that are interested in the Marina who and where are they?
Time to cough up or get off the pot.

Where is the money Mr. Mayor
Its well over the 72 hours you said that this would be resolved, Show us the money or get off the pot. How about the three new Detroiters interested in the Marina what their status? Even more important why don't you identify them. There is no Detroit developers
is there? They only exist from the voices telling you what to do in your mind. The jig is up
You need to have another press conference today the primary election is over
so we can be amused and awed in what you say.

Carty where is the Marina Money from the developer?
Its been three more weeks and no money. He defaulted. What are you going to do about it?
Blame it on city council? WSPD? YMCA? United Way?

United Way should get the old building torn down
Nows a good time the Blade is pre-occupied with the YMCA. This will probably give the United Way a couple of weeks to get the wrecking ball rolling.

It's official: Recall OFF the ballot
More to come stay tuned! Supreme Court says lacked proper signature disclaimer.

Toledo Mayor Carty Finkbeiner announced July 27 that the Ohio Supreme Court ruled to prevent a recall effort from appearing on the ballot on Nov. 3.
According to the court document State ex rel. Finkbeiner v. Lucas Cty. Bd. of Elections, the petition did not include a legal clause stating that election falsification is a felony of the fifth-degree.
