Democrats Commit Political Suicide – In Three Steps

This was the latest email from Human Events, Newt is right. Dems don't care about the country, they just care about their far left base. Many people are seeing this, which is why 2010 will be a bad year for them. The Dems know this and it is completely mind blowing they don't care about it.

Over at Pollster.Com, President Obama’s "streams crossed" this week. That’s part-"Ghostbusters," part-pollster speak for saying the President’s approval rating dipped below his disapproval rating, causing the lines of the graph charting his standing with the American people to cross.

Unions: No tax on 'Cadillac' health plans

Unions: No tax on 'Cadillac' health plans
By Kevin Bogardus - 10/02/09 06:11 AM ET

Organized labor is turning to House Democrats to oppose a tax on high-cost insurance plans that is under consideration to help pay for healthcare reform.

Unions are blasting the idea in the Senate Finance Committee bill, as many union members would be affected because they either have expensive insurance to cover dangerous professions or negotiated for better benefits instead of higher wages.

Rep. Marcy Kaptur Co-Sponsors Landmark Agriculture and Open Space Conservation Bill

Perrysburg, OH (September 24, 2009) Private landowners—and especially family farmers—will be the beneficiaries of legislation, co-sponsored by Representative Marcy Kaptur (D-OH), to make permanent the federal tax incentive for donations of conservation easements.

The incentive, which is slated to expire at the end of 2009, has helped Black Swamp Conservancy work with willing landowners to conserve over 3,500 acres of agricultural land and natural areas since it was first enacted in 2006.

The Obama lie of the day....fines for not having health care not a tax...

Bill says 'tax' when Obama said 'not'

In the most contentious exchange of President Barack Obama’s marathon of five Sunday shows, he said it is “not true” that a requirement for individuals to get health insurance under a key reform plan now being debated amounts to a tax increase.

But he could look it up — in the bill.

Page 29, sentence one of the bill introduced by Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus (D-Mont) says: “The consequence for not maintaining insurance would be an excise tax.”

HUSTED ENDORSED BY OHIO REPUBLICAN PARTY LEADERSHIP

Columbus, OH—State Senator Jon Husted (R-Kettering), candidate for Ohio Secretary of State, today received the endorsement of the Ohio Republican State Central and Executive Committee. The committee is comprised of 66 members; one male and one female from each state senate district.

“I am grateful for the support from the leaders of the Ohio Republican Party,” Husted said. “This is certainly an important endorsement of my campaign and I look forward to building on this support during the months to come.”
