Bill who? I'd say 'none of the above' - they are basically the same person & I trust none of them. Only one worse, is McCain who can't be trusted with our borders (check who backs him, who used to be on the cabinet of Mexican pres. Fox)
None of the above. Hitlery is as anti-freedom as you can get without joining the Communist party. Obama runs her a very close second. Neither one of these candidates said that they would pull our troops out of the sandbox. Ever.
This system is messed up. By the time the primaries come to Ohio, we'll be left with little choice. Why should Iowa, NH, and Florida get to determine who Ohio can't vote for?
We need to have the primaries all on one day.
Also, these polls are BS. Has anyone here been included in one of these polls? I never have, and neither has anyone I've ever known. How about this scam---the media pushes these polls down our throats, no one I have ever known has been included in these polls, then---the media starts to leave candidates off of the debates because......wait for it......they're not doing well in the polls!
The Democratic debate on CNN tonight is being sponsored by the clean coal industry. Ya think there will be any questions about global warming? Ha!
Jack!
I think that originally, the electoral college & delegate thing was began because a lot of people didn't know how to read or write (I could be wrong) - meaning, it's outdated. I never understood why Iowa goes first. And while I understand why a state's population determines how many delegates it has - It still makes no sense to me that we use this outdated & cumbersome system of electing a president. I think that whoever wants to run for pres. should have their name on the ballot (having had to meet certain requirements, of course) & just let all the people vote. The three names that get the most votes goes onto the final ballot - and once more (and last time) the people vote. It is supposed to be the vote of the people, and it's not. I worry if hillary or obama get voted in. But it terrifies me if McCain gets in - our borders will have welcome signs on them. He's in bed with a man from Mexico who said in an audio tape something about "having Mexico, America & Canada as a block" - meaning, no borders. The man McCain is in bed with, has done a lot of work to get illegals rights to drivers licenses, banking (so they can get their money back to their families in Mexico), & other rights of U.S. Citiizens. I heard McCain play dumb on an audio tape that he 'didn't know this man's policies' - which is bullshit, given how this man has played a big part in McCain's campaign & life. Whoever votes for McCain, is voting to give up this country to Mexico. Shame on you. And McCain is an ass - with that smug smile.

How is the system outdated. It was revamped after the '68 Democratic Convention.
Prior to that "Superdelegates" had a higher stake. Prior to that Party bosses decided who was the candidates (BTW it even caused the assassination of President Garfield). Were these better?
Is it an imperfect system? Some say it is. Outdated? I think not. But at least it never caused a convention floor riot nor the assassination of a public figure.
Also I am of the belief that the electoral college is a benefit to the country. It does exactly what it was intended to do.
If more people took the time to understand how both systems work they probably wouldn't be so negative towards them.
