I used to live on Rambo Lane (near Secor-Sylvania intersection), went to Monac Elem. and Whitmer High, but have lived in Tennessee since 1974. I was just reminiscing and wondering if Westgate (Secor at Central, I think?) was still operating, then found the posts about Starbuck's there. In the late 1960's, we used to do a lot of business with a store named Grinnell's, which sold TV's, stereos, pianos. Wonder if anyone remembers it? The Westgate store was a branch; the main Grinnell's store was downtown, and they had another branch in Napoleon.
