CNN, MSNBC, and WSPD radio—what do they have in common? Other than low ratings compared to their competitors, they devote most of their time to berating Donald Trump—yet clamor to get him on their shows.
I listened to the Scott Sands show on August 2, from 4:30-6 p.m.; and he devoted about 75 of that 90 minutes to making fun of Trump (admittedly, he spent some of the time talking about “gun nuts"). This is coupled with the debacle of the previous morning when Fred LeFebvre didn’t think he was talking to the real Donald Trump.
I’ve heard both of these talk show hosts say they won’t vote for Hillary and probably not Trump; but when I listen to them, their comments heavily lean toward demeaning Trump (with a very occasional swipe at Hillary). Now, they would probably say, “Trump just does and says so many more outrageous things.” That’s great. Then see how an AM radio talk station survives with just Hillary supporters.
