What type of government do you want for Toledo?

I can't vote on that since there's an option missing, whereby you can choose to have the city council be the type of government (hence with NO mayor or city manager). Why do we bother to even have a council, if they won't actually govern? If the council needs a focal point, they can just elect a Chairman from amongst their number.

The city council gives me every impression of being an elected committee supposed to govern, that nonetheless spends its time NOT governing.

you just need to have a candidate that has knowledge and accountability in what limitations the government as a whole to the community can provide to increase opportunities for residential, commercial, and industrial entities to flourish and having to balance without alienating the core community.

You need an entertainer to properly promote the community without having whisperings from the peanut gallery antagonise and inflame, looks great on TV, dosen't have an "Entitlement Ego" because of his responsibilities, trusts wholly those whom he places within their government, and how to deal with Godzilla.

Such people end up running for a much higher office and are often defeated due to their honesty and lack of hubris. Those that are elected often resign, having had more than enough of a terminally apathetic public, a sensationalist muck raking commercial media and an obstructive partisan peer group.

This unscientific poll mirrors our political process; limited choice. The poll would just as well ask how you want to have your teeth drilled. I'd settle for a local government comprised of adults who are not dysfunctional and all of whom have passed professional mediocrity in their chosen profession. As long as I'm dreaming, honesty and integrity would be non-negotiable traits as well.
