a different kind of guy like him on the board
Shouldn't being runner up in the past two elections eclipse any other nominees qualifications?
Why are other people being considered? We voters spoke, so shut up and listen to us. Torres's opinion should count just as much as everyone else who voted in the last election, perhaps even less so considering the question over his residency. Sure, it might have been technically legal, but how many Development Specialists call a rented room their primary residence? I just have this image of him giving a tour of his home...

...the communication or it has to be sent "snail mail". It's the easy way not to have to look at a candidate on his/her merits.
