Clive businessman Marty Parrish was escorted from Sen. John McCain's town hall meeting by Des Moines police and members of the Secret Service after asking McCain if he had called his wife Cindy an expletive in 1992.
Parrish, an licensed Baptist minister who holds a master's degree in political science, was questioned by Secret Service agents before being released. He was not charged in the incident. Parrish asked whether McCain called his wife Cindy an expletive related to the female anatomy, as has been alleged in the book "The Real McCain," written by Dem strategist Cliff Schecter. (cont.)
A MINISTER used the "C" word??? Out loud & in public????????
It's okay. This guy's white. It doesn't matter. We're looking for angry black preachers in this presidential race. Am I right, white folks?
and continue to make a fool of yourself.
comment back and you post this?
Since you appear incapable of having intelligent dialog, let me help you. An intelligent poster would put:
Don, I don't agree with what you said, because.....and give your reason.
Your comment is basically trash because you have done nothing to make your point.
But I guess I am expecting too much.
Don Wert's comment is an example of sarcasm
the other S word :)

and this type of a vengeful response is what makes you still on my watch list of users. I will take care of the discussions.
Parrish, an licensed Baptist minister who holds a master's degree in political science, was questioned by Secret Service agents before being released. He was not charged in the incident.
What would Parrish have been charged with? This is a non-statement crafted to give Parrish respectability and therefore to discredit McCain, who handled this situation a whole lot better than many people would have.
I find Don Wert's comments to be generally without substance or of any real value. For the most part, I ignore him. This is a little different.
Don Wert concluded with Am I right, white folks? This is a racist, bigoted statement which I find personally offensive.
I found it offensive also.
that's funny. Where in the comments above did el say that? Maybe I need to rub lemon juice on my screen to see where he says he is offended. All I see is a 3rd grader calling names not even making a point and that is the behavior that I am going to clamp down on no matter who says it. Heck that is even a third grader defense of a position without even saying your reasoning. You are defending the undefendable.
The fact is DonWert is making more of a point with the post above than 4 of el mehico posts. Don is using satire above. You may not agree with him, but I understand the point Don is trying to make. I am not offended by the comment, because there is a point there, unlike the post following it by el mehico.

But, like Obama and Rev. Wright, this crap is all smoke and mirrors and has nothing to do with how effective someone would be in office. It's all campaign rhetoric used to discredit and smear candidates by their political opponents and opposition party. But fear not, there are plenty of voters who would make a choice based on this nonsense, much like the John Kerry 'Swiftboat' lies from 2004.
