Mayor asks council members to be nice and bury differences

If Czarty is asking for a cease fire I think its because twenty thousand incoming political scud missiles are dotting the skies and he's the target. If Czarty is serious I'm glad he's seeing that his way of doing things needs to drastically change. I would love to say something good about Czarty for a change.

Unless he got thumped by Jesus in the mountians, I wouldn't hold your breath. I too, hope, but being a realist that has been fooled once....never again. Give it a day or two.

...because after all Carty has destroyed in the last year, he's really too stupid to conceive this idea from his own head.

If Carty was "smart" enough to think of this idea on his own, he'd have used that same intellect NOT to get into the "cluster-F" he's in now.

Now, the question becomes, because Carty's in the paper's saying this, will there be compliance?

The answer is "no".

Think of the child that has no conscience. Running amok, terrorising his siblings, creating havoc knowing of no repurcussions, destroying everything in his path and angering the neighbors. Then this child has a chat with the local pastor and the ensuing epiphiny is shared with everybody.

Do you really think they're going to take this child seriously?

Carty, as a human being, should be ashamed of himself for what he is doing. But you have to have a conscience for that to happen.

We are often vacationing in the mountains of Colorado and other mountain areas. There's an altitude effect that happens. The blood and air thin as you accend to higher elevations. It takes 2-4 days to ajust to the altitude once there for most people, and likewise 2-5 days to re-ajust to lower altitudes. "Mountain Air" has a naturally calming effect that quickly vanishes when you come back down to this altitude..I should know..lol

Let's hope the jerk takes his own advice.

But, never having done so before...

Czarty can't do it. He's so anxious about being who he is its almost impossible for him to see it anyone else's way. What we have seen him do is fake us out by telling all of us that he's changed or he agrees with us and will support us. I wouldn't believe anything he has to say. I am suspicious that his stated willingness to heal is nothing more than another ploy to buy time. Lets proceed with the recall effort and get him out of office. Once we get him out, everyone else has a better chance of healing and moving Toledo forward.
