Making Mediocrity Succeed

I have seen the complaints that TPS doesn't measure up to the other schools in Northwest Ohio. Hopefully something wil be done about that soon. This letter, http://www.toledoblade.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20080229/OPINION03..., that appeared in the letters to the editor about the renewal of a tax for A W Schools should give Toledoans hope that soon our schools will "measure" up with others in Northwest Ohio. This link, http://swampbubbles.com/oregon-school-tax-levy-vote-no-no-no, shows at least one concerned citizen trying to balance taxation with needs. This link, http://www.toledotalk.com/cgi-bin/tt.pl/article/3214/2006-07_School_Repo..., shows were the Anthony Wayne and Oregon school districts are performing in comparision to TPS. Hopefully (if the levies fail) we should be on a more even keel with these school districts, and we will see less complaints about where we are at. After all if you're neighbors are poor then you are less likely to complain about your own poverty.
