The staff is friendly, the selection very good and the decor is something to see.
PS: I am in no way affiliated with this store, we just happened upon it while we were out for a Sunday drive.
it's sad that it was an old church, but it looks neat.
It is in a cool old church building. I didn't go in, it looked really neat. A big sign outside says Ohio magazine calls it the best bookstore in Ohio.
long way to go to find a bookstore, when barnes & noble is so close at hand (and Amazon). I do like used book stores full of antiquated, out of print books - but this one sounds like new books - not worth the trip to me.
I do miss Thackeray's.
is this bookstore like thackerys? that was a nice store.
It looks pretty cool but seriously I wouldn't drive that far just to go to a bookstore.
Thackerys was a great store, it really is sad that they shut down.
I also miss Thackeray's but the new B&N is nice. We needed a good bookstore on this side of town.
There's lots to do in Findlay - you can make a day of it.
Dietsch Bros. candy & ice cream, the Mazza Museum, the Hancock County Fair in late summer, the Northwest Ohio Railroad Preservation, Inc. and one of my favorite places, Jeffrey's Antiques.
If you're headed that way - this bookstore is a nice place to stop.
