Isn't it time for Hillary Clinton to get her hat out of the ring? George McGovern has abandoned the sinking ship. How many more Hillary Clinton backers do we need to go over to Barack Obama's camp before she gets the message? You done good but now it's over.
It didn't look last night like Chelsea was having a good time. Why would someone put their family through a public flogging if it is not necessary? It must be politics.
Kate Smith is howling like a lone wolf, but Hillary isn't listening. She ignored what Billy Boy was doing to their marriage and now she's ignoring this.
for McCain will split the party. Obama has no chance in November. JMO of course.

was over a long time ago, but Hitlery didn't realize it. In my mind, the final curtain fell and the truck was packed just as soon as Obama hit town. The reasoning is that Hitlery planned to run a campaign based on attacking everyone who dared oppose her, supplemented by emotional appeals for support of undefined, morally pure causes (because it's for the children, that's why!). So sad, too bad, Obama Rama Ding Dong is immune to Hitlery's attacks - if Hitlery attacks him, she'll be labeled a...
Racist!
And we can't have anyone leasing that prestigious address on Pennsylvania avenue who is a...
Racist!
Meanwhile, good old what's his name from the Stupid Party has spies and advisers quietly observing Hitlery try to attack Obama bin Campaignin' without committing political suicide so he can see what works and what doesn't. I'm guessing he'll go for the religion and socialized medicine angles. We'll see.
Of course, if Hitlery could swallow her pride and find a way to live with Obama's hubris and the off color political cartoons and racial jokes, she might get a ticket as Vice, which would make her eligible to run in eight years. It would mean eight years of Obama and there aren't any guarantees. Somehow, I just don't see that one happening.
... revolves on other axles that most opinions recognize. In my opinion, Clinton may not be as popular, and some of that is intense dislike, but she is a well-worn tool of the elite ... a tool designed to continue the destruction of the middle class as the USA becomes a "Turd World" nation in this century (where Turd World means masses of desperately poor workers surrounding well-armed and state-protected enclaves of the rich).
In contrast, Obama has too much of a Populist stink about him; he can't serve better as such a class-murder weapon.
Hence, I believe all this brouhaha is just Obama collecting votes from the idiot sectors of the Dem Party (namely, racist votes and idealist votes), and when the nom business is actually conducted at the convention, Clinton will be chosen by the elites, and as a good little Dem, Obama will endorse her. The racist and idealist voters will be disenchanted a little, sure ... but they ARE Democrats, which means they ARE partisan morons. They will largely then give their vote to the White globalist tool that was designed to run the nation by the people who own the nation (i.e. Capitalist scum).
I believe that the fix is in. Clinton will win the nom, and Obama will either endorse her or become her Veep.
... not that any of that matters, anyway. McCain's mouth will echo what his handlers say to him, and that is a message of:
1. Arabs will kill us all and rape our retirement accounts if you don't elect a war President like McCain.
2. Democrats and other Socialists will not allow you to become a multi-millionaire with playing with gold, stocks, and houses.
The first must-win aspect of McCain is the myth that we're in the Final War with Islam. The second must-winner is that that like with "trickle down", the myth of the Ownership Society actually works. Americans are still so scared of Arabs and so afraid of not getting rich that these will be one-two punches that will give McCain the critical majority vote in the election. He'll win the popular vote by at least 5%, and will gain a very comfortable lead with the electoral votes. The end result is that McCain will be President, and he'll attack Iran in 2009, and the Great Depression II will deepen.
(Of course, if by some miracle Clinton becomes President, she'll continue the Iraq War, and the Great Depression II will deepen, anyway.)
WERE SCREWED!

We're screw no matter which so-called candidate wins nomination and the election. The Great Depression II is coming and will wipe away all other concerns. First we'll have to endure Bernanke's huge inflation move, as he tries to bail out his banker buddies. After that, a rather severe deflation.
I hope Rush can pound McCain more to the right. And there still could be a big impetus for a 3rd party candidate here.
that you don't find it distressing that a presidential candidate's viewpoints have to be 'pounded' to the right (or left if be the case) by a loud-mouthed talk-radio blowhard.
Can't John McCain's honest stances on issues be enough to judge whether or not to vote for him? If he can so easily be persuaded to change his positions by the likes of Rush Limbaugh in order to be elected president, this is the type of person you'd even consider voting for?
McCain has a long-established track record on some issues that give arch-conservatives great discomfort. To yield to pressure from that group to 're-invent' those positions is a terrific reason not to vote for him.
They tried the race card and that hasn't worked so my guess is in the next week or so they will plant a story to paint Obama as being unfaithful, gay and as having two children by a fourteen year old white girl from Chicago. What Hillary is showing us is her loyality is not to the party but to herself. And the sleaze factor will escalate in the remaining weeks of May.
Can't wait to see the movie.
I"m afraid if McCain gets elected, we'll be at war in Iraq for another 10 years, at least. I'm afraid if Obama or Hillary are elected - our country will be given away to illegals, we'll be looking at enourmous tax hikes to pay for govt. health care (which the govt will also dictate quality & cost of). None of the 3 will save this country - and all them will doom this country, possibley irreparably.
what do you suggest?
You say you want a revolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
You tell me that it's evolution
Well, you know
We all want to change the world
But when you talk about destruction
Don't you know that you can count me out
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
You say you got a real solution
Well, you know
We'd all love to see the plan
You ask me for a contribution
Well, you know
We're doing what we can
But when you want money
for people with minds that hate
All I can tell is brother you have to wait
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
Ah
ah, ah, ah, ah, ah...
You say you'll change the constitution
Well, you know
We all want to change your head
You tell me it's the institution
Well, you know
You better free you mind instead
But if you go carrying pictures of chairman Mao
You ain't going to make it with anyone anyhow
Don't you know it's gonna be all right
all right, all right
all right, all right, all right
all right, all right, all right

purnhrt - I honestly have no idea. My first choise, was Obama. I did like Obama at first, and he's an excellent speaker. But while he talks a lot about change & hope, I have yet to hear on how he intends to make this happen. The same can be said about hillary & mccain. But I"ve lost a lot of faith in Obama - too much garbage being dug up, too many dirty connections - and the same can be said about the other two.
To be honest, I think our voting system is a joke - delegates, super delegates, I fail to see the point of it all. I fail to see why we can't just stick a few names on a ballot, and let the people vote, and then when it's narrowed down to two candidates - let the people vote again & be done with it. Let the people decide - it'd be easier, faster & cheaper & more accurate of what the people want. I think there needs to be a law that dictates a ceiling on campaign spending. Unless the person is very wealthy, they don't have a chance in hell of running for president. That said, you asked what I'd suggest in this election - I have no idea. I'd like to see Ron Paul have a shot at it, but the media buries any party that's not D & R, or isn't one of the main runners. I've complained in past elections that it seems we're voting for the least offensive candidate - most people have felt that way at some time. But this election, is the first time I felt really dismal & apathetic about the choises - none of them will save this country, and all of them will do more damage to this country, all are potentially dangerous to this country.
I enjoyed the Beatles' lyrics - I just listened to that song today, and it's as on the mark as much today, as it was when it was written.

young people.
Thank God for young people who have been the stabilizing force in this election process, not the “hard working,” “middle class,” “white” people but their children. Their children see through the madness and have stuck with Obama because they are tired of their daddy’s politics. And their daddy’s daddy’s politics.
I just saw pictures of Obama and Clinton on cnn.com and Hillary didn't look none to happy whereas Obama has on the most beautiful smile.
Sing lady Sing!!!
Mercy Mercy Me (the Ecology) lyrics
By Marvin Gaye
as sung by Barack Obamaaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
Oh, mercy mercy me
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
No, no
Where did all the blue sky go?
Poison is the wind that blows
From the north, east, south, and sea
Oh, mercy mercy
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
No, no
Oil wasted on the oceans and upon our seas
Fish full of mercury
Oh, mercy mercy me
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
No, no
Radiation in the ground and in the sky
Animals and birds who live nearby are dying
Oh, mercy mercy me
Oh, things ain't what they used to be
What about this overcrowded land?
How much more abuse from man can you stand?
My sweet Lord
My sweet Lord
My sweet Lord
