...might want to start budgeting their salaries for at least a stagnant wage. People don't seem very sympathetic to the fact that they didn't get their "promised" raise. It will be interesting to see how this plays out in the "marketplace of ideas".
They Have enuff money to teach without it. I would never vote for it!
Taxes Are Like Drugs, Just Say NO !
Failing the levy is a permanent change as far as I'm concerned. I've had to adjust to personal wage drops; so must our employees (i.e. TPS personnel). Stopping levies is the only way to exert such controls, and to send such an economic signal.
It only stands to reason that you can't have a society of people getting poorer while their public servants get richer. Well, you CAN, but that's called South America. If anyone thinks South America is such a great place, then please pack up and move there. The Third World and Second World have no place here in the United States.
Don't you understand that by not voting for a levy like this past one you are hurting me, the student. You aren't hurting the teachers, you are hurting me. I suppose you do hurt them somewhat though. When they have to cut things like art, music, and p.e. then those teachers get layed off which does hurt them obviously. But once again it all goes back to me because then i won't be able to have an art, music, or p.e. class. I swear parents and the rest of the community don't take into consideration what the kids want.
