...but must admit that sometimes, you just don't catch these things...
My first campaign, in 1993, my husband drove me and some family members downtown to see my first billboard. We drove up Monroe street and he said...'it's coming up here on the right.' Well, the billboard looked great - but it was right next to another billboard advertising some 'gentleman's club/strip joint'....
Needless to say, the family was quite disturbed and I learned a very valuable lesson...to ask if there are two billboards next to each other and who the other advertiser was...
but no one made an issue of it - thank goodness!
I'm not a fan of either party. They both have been showing an elevated level or corruption in recent years and frankly I'm tired of it. I believe this sums up my feeling on the matter:
Scandal for the Dem's always seems to somehow wrap into some sexual or wannabe sexual issue. It's not that it doesn't cross political lines, it's just that the dems are sloppy and careless. They seem to have lost their ability to be descrete.
lol...indeed
not mistaken. This sign would be in front of the TFT building on Bryne. I always found it funny that a teachers union would have an office building next to a strip mall with a gentlemen's club - always enjoyed the irony. Sometimes you don't get to choose your neighbors I guess.
Maybe.., the Dems just slightly modified an old precept. For The People, By the People, In The People.
