This is the Children of Liberty meeting at the Sanger branch library. Fred Lefebre ( how do you spell that) spoke , now Michael Miller of the Toledo Free Press is up . These two are both funny, regardless if you agree with them or not. Miller looks younger than his FP photo.
Fred spoke of the media battles in Toledo. The newspaper , the tv stations, the radio, the weekly paper.

Recently discovered on Amateur Night at the Apollo, he has gone on to win three different nights on the iconic talent show. After his third win and continued standing ovations on Amateur Night he was chosen by the Executive Producer to appear as the only child star on the star studded Apollo’s 75th Anniversary Gala held on June 8, 2009.
I was born and raised in Toledo. I decided to do something worth while once I graduated College. I thought it would be important to save our veterans history in the area. Now 50 interviews later I feel we are beginning to turn out a good product of education for future generations.
We interviewed 18 veterans at West Park Place senior living center in Toledo, and had a large presentation with a video to show the veterans and their families. We figured Memorial Day weekend would be a wonderful time to honor our veterans, and all those who paid the ultimate sacrifice.
Want to know how bad it is in Washington? Look at one Democratic Rep who got an earmark for a company who did not want it. The earmark was recommended by the PMA group. At least "the Bridge to No Where" had a town on the island side.

Noe, a top fund-raiser for the Bush campaign, had an agenda for his meeting with Mr. Kaczala, who then was the Lucas County auditor and the county government's only Republican officeholder:
The former GOP power broker wanted Mr. Kaczala to help him make illegal contributions to the Bush campaign.

Gov. Strickland is going to the Ohio Supreme Court to get the CAT tax on groceries reinstated after an appeals court ruled it unconstitutional. The Ohio Grocers Association will be on tuesday to explain why they are fighting this once again.
Tom Waniewski also drops in to preview the council agenda for tomorrow's meeting.
